I am currently driving in Temecula to get some things done with my vehicles. My car and Jeep are kept at my grandma's property out here. It's a huge property with a massive detached garage. It's basically its own giant building. Everyone stores their cars at grandma's.

I am meeting a guy at the end of the really fucking long driveway, by the gate, to sell him my Jeep. Before I started college I bought my 2021 Jeep Rubicon 4xe. She is dark olive green and stacked.

Had some great adventures in that Jeep but now, I never wanna drive it again. Too many girls went in and out of that Jeep, which kinda makes me disgusted with myself. I just don't want it anymore. Plus, Briar has never been in it and I don't ever want her to be in it.

I have been thinking about selling it since I got my truck. The truck has become my daily driver and depending on what happens with the draft, I would want to upgrade the Jeep or get into a different off-road vehicle. Briar is going to tell me it's stupid that I am selling it because of the past, but she is just honestly the push I needed to get rid of it now. It's something that has been in the works.

I am currently waiting by the gate, leaning on the Jeep, waiting for this guy to arrive. After I got here, I made sure there wasn't anything in it and it was clean. Which it was. Grabbed both sets of keys and the title from the safe. I'm kinda surprised he agreed to give me full asking, $50k. I've had it for about 3ish years, she has 35k miles on it. He said that he likes all the upgrades and stuff I put on it, so apparently $50k is a good deal for him. I don't know, I just threw a number out. I don't even remember how much money I  have tied up in it.

He is pulling up now with an older guy, maybe his dad? He is younger than I was expecting but he's still gotta be 18ish. They hop out and I can tell he is excited.

'Hey, man. Thanks for meeting us.' He says. 'I'm Kevin Mitchell and this is my dad, Mike Mitchell. He reaches his hand out so I shake his and then Mike's.

'Hey, River.' I say.

'Yeah, we know who you are.' Mike says with a big smile.

'Ah, you guys Trojan fans?!'

Mike claps Kevin on the shoulder and says. 'We sure are! Hoping that Kev will be able to play there next year.'

'Really, what position do you play?'

'Tight End.' Kevin says kinda shyly.

'You play at Temecula?' He nods. 'I'll make sure Coach Harvey comes out to see you if he wasn't planning to already.' Kevin's eyes go wide and he looks at his dad.

Mike said. 'Wow, that's really nice of you. Thank you so much.'

'Absolutely. Here is a set of keys. Y'all can take it for a drive. If you keep going down this road there is a dirt road in about .5 miles on the right. You can turn down there. It gives you about another half mile to drive around before you reach another gate. It's another gate to this property. You can drive around wherever you want back there, you don't have to stay on the road.'
