Natasha sighed after stepping out of the court house. Joshua walked up to her from behind adjusting his tie. " I can't handle reports doesn't matter how much experience I have. " They laughed a little. " Are you heading to hospital?" She just nodded in response. " Is his condition improving?"

She nodded with a faint smile. " Yeah. Actually, much better than previous days. Doctor saying his brain is healing fastly. "

" That's good. " Then he narrowed his eyes at her hand," Sorry if I noticed so late and asking out of the blue, but when did this happen?"

She lifted her left hand showed her ring, then she chuckled," This? It didn't happen. " He got confused. " I just put it on my finger myself. Like a promise. on yeshchyo vernetsya ko mne ." She mumbled the last part in Russian.

His jaws dropped a little then he shook his head," I didn't understand that, but I hope you said something good. So we're done...for now?"

She smiled at him as they walked towards their cars," Means it worked out?"

She nodded at him," Okay. Good luck for your date. Bye. " Then she climbed into her car and drove off.

She came out of the elevator and walked through the hospital hallway when she saw Yelena," What are you doing here?"

She raised her eyebrow," To see my friend. "

" But it's past visiting hours."

Yelena challenged her question," Then why are you here now?"

Natasha rolled her eyes," I'm allowed to see him whenever I want. "

" Rude." She mumbled.

She was walking away but Natasha stopped her," You should hurry, Joshua is off work. " She looked at her in confusion. " You're meeting him today right?"

Yelena realised then nodded," Sorry, I didn't tell you earlier. "

She shook her head," It's okay. I thought things didn't work out between you two, but it's better that it did. He's a good guy." Yelena nodded. " Don't wait for me at home and go to sleep. I'll be late home." Yelena left and she walked into Steve's ward.

She saw the nurse as usual. " Hello, Ms Romanoff. " She smiled at her kindly.

Natasha nodded," Hello. "

" I just changed his glucose tube, press the help button on his bed if you need anything. " She informed.

" Sure. Thanks. " She nodded and left her alone with Steve.

Natasha took her usual seat next to his bed. His pale and gloomy skin is brightening slowly. She's gotten used to of seeing the oxygen mask on his face. She slowly held his left thumb carefully as two tubes are connected on his palm.

Her lips trembled as she tried to talk," I've something to say, Steve. A good news I just wanted to share with you. I won. I did it. We won, babe. Fury is sentenced for prison for the rest of his life. Today was final hearing. I stood on my ground, firm and confidently, like you always told me to.
