Wednesday June 9th
As the end of our seventh year at Hogwarts drew near, Hermione, Ginny, and I found ourselves immersed in an intense whirlwind of studying, all in preparation for the upcoming N.E.W.T. exams. The Library became our sanctuary, its shelves overflowing with books, and tables adorned with stacks of parchment.
With Hermione's characteristic diligence, she meticulously organized study schedules and formed study groups. She dove into textbooks, making detailed notes in her neat handwriting, determined to excel in every subject. Ginny, fueled by her fiery determination and natural intellect, attacked each topic with fervor, unraveling the complexities of magical theory. And I, known for my creative approach and adaptability, blended practicality and intuition, finding unique ways to comprehend intricate magical concepts.
The days before the N.E.W.T.s became a blur of endless hours in the library, poring over ancient tomes and practicing spells in preparation for the practical exams. We challenged and supported each other, realizing that success demanded both individual effort and shared knowledge.
A lot of late nights were spent huddled together in the Gryffindor common room, trading notes and quizzing each other on potions ingredients or Transfiguration spells. Laughter mingled with the scent of burning midnight oil, weaving a bond that would transcend our time at Hogwarts.
Finally, the day of the N.E.W.T. exams arrived. With a mix of excitement and nervousness, we entered the exam rooms. Hermione's eyes gleamed with determination, Ginny exuded a quiet confidence, and I carried a composed demeanor, masking the butterflies fluttering within.
The hours turned into days as the exams progressed. Hermione showcased her encyclopedic knowledge, leaving examiners impressed with her precision and depth of understanding in subjects like Charms, Transfiguration, and Arithmancy. Ginny's Quidditch instincts translated into impeccable wandwork, earning her praise in Defense Against the Dark Arts and Herbology. Meanwhile, my innovative thinking led me to unconventional answers, surprising examiners in subjects such as Potions and Ancient Runes.
Throughout the exams, our friendship served as a constant support. Encouraging smiles, subtle nods of reassurance, and whispered words of encouragement during breaks fortified our spirits. Deep within, we understood that our connection surpassed mere test scores and qualifications. Our shared experiences, triumphs, and setbacks had woven a bond that would withstand the test of time.
As the final exam concluded, relief washed over us, mingling with exhaustion. Emerging from the exam rooms, we wore a blend of relief, anticipation, and a touch of nostalgia. The realization that our time at Hogwarts was drawing to a close settled upon us, marking the end of an era.
In the days that followed, we celebrated the completion of our exams, reveling in the freedom from the weight of textbooks and exams. Wandering the familiar halls of the castle, we cherished the sights and sounds, bidding farewell to the place we had called home for so long.
Our time at Hogwarts had drawn to a close, but the memories we had forged and the friendship we had cultivated would forever be etched in our hearts. The path ahead was uncertain, but we faced it with gratitude and hope, knowing that we had forged an unbreakable bond, now we only have the graduation left in a few days and then we a officially free to do whatever our hearts desire.
