Breaking the shadows

The year has flown by.

1999

Monday May 31st

This year has flown by so fast, last I remember I just gave away Astra's cubs, and that is several months ago, it was before christmas. I gave Celestia to Harry at christmas, and he were overjoyed with exitement, I let him with a red string of yarn, giving him hints to where she would wait for him, I led Harry up to the very top of the burrow, and when he heard the hooting, he instantly asked me: "Hedwig?" 

I just shook my head, and Harry continued following the red yarn, when he saw Celestia, he broke down in tears, I placed a hand on his shoulder and said: "This is Celestia, she is one of Astra's cubs."

"And your giving her to me?" Harry sobbed.

"Yes I am."

"Thank you so much Harlow." He said while pulling me in for a hug. "What does her name mean?" He asked.

"Heavenly." I said shortly.

"Its perfect." Harry sniffled, Celestia flew to my arm, Harry looked shocked at first, I took Harry's arm and extended to mine, and Celestia hopped from my arm to Harry's. Celestia cooed as Harry petted her. 

I knew that I had done something good for Harry. 

I spend both Christmas and New Years with Ginny, only this year Draco and his mother had joined us as well, Molly and Narcissa had becomed close friend, who would have thought. And this year Harry wasn't the third wheel anymore, he had Draco now, I had Ginny and Hermione and Ron, so this year our friend group was only couples.

In under a month Ginny, Hermione and I graduate from Hogwarts, and then Ginny and I are going to be traveling the world together.

In a month Hermione and I will no longer be roommates, and in a month she will be moving in with Ron and Harry in London. I can't wait, but to be honest the future scares me a little, I've dreamed all my life what I want to do, I went from wanting to be a princess to working in the police, but then at Hogwarts everything changed, I thought I was going to be studying art at a muggle college, becuase I thought I was a muggle as well, but turns out I am a witch, and I still love art, but now I can teach art at Hogwarts as I also have done over these last couple of months, and Professor McGongall has been paying me. I've been really busy these last couple of months, I've had prefect duties, studying for the N.E.W.T.s and also teaching first years and second years art, and they love it, and I love teaching. I might want to be a teacher. Maybe even at Hogwarts. But no matter what the future has to me I will have Ginny by my side, every step of the way.

I've also helped Hermione get out of the room some more, so she doesn't get to stressed, I've taken her on walks and one weekend we went to the nearest muggle town and played bowling, Hermione pretends that she hates that I force her to go on these trips with me, but I know her, and she loves me for it. Becuase of this we have our sister time again, Ginny has joined us a few times, but I have been making sure to plan our trips when Ginny is at practise. It's not that I don't want her along, but I have missed having sister time with Hermione, and I know Gnny would stress about it if I made her go with us as well, so she just tags along when she can.
