"You think we need this?" Saint asked, looking over at me as he held up what looked like a thermometer.
"what even is that?" I questioned, giggling.
Today we decided to hit the town and begin stocking up on a couple of things as we planned to leave for Texas in another day or two.
I've been recovering better , so much so that I was able to convince Saint to let me come with him instead of being held up back in the room.
For 9 months I was basically stuck in a house, I've had enough solitude for a lifetime.
"it says it's a baby bath thermometer." He explained as he read the packaging.
I creased my eyebrows and giggled at that before speaking, "yeah I don't think we're exactly in desperate need of that."
"you sure though," he questioned with raised eyebrows, "what if the waters too hot or sum, I don't wanna hurt them."
Honestly , looking at him, I could tell Saint was dead serious, which actually made the situation more funny if anything.
"baby, we don't need a thermometer to tell if the waters too hot or not." I laughed.
Visually I could see the wheels turning in his head, then he nodded, "—damn you're right."
"—I just wanna make sure they're straight you know." He added, shaking his head.
"I get it—we appreciate you too." I reassured him, leaning up to place a quick kiss on his lips.
It was interesting to see how cautious or I guess, nervous Saint was with the babies.
Even when it came down to buying this twin stroller today, it took us nearly an hour because he wanted the workers to explain why exactly this was the best option, and what set it apart from the other ones.
Granted, he did get a pretty good explanation, but still, it's not like many people were gonna tell him no.
"what else do we need then?" He asked, looking ahead at the shelf's.
"hmm let me see—can you push the stroller?" I questioned as I prepared to walk further down the aisle.
"Mhm" He hummed.
"Alright?" I said aloud, beginning my verbal checklist.
"We've already got plenty of toiletries, you're gonna wait to build new cribs once we make it to Dallas, and we're gonna start getting more clothes once we leave here." I rambled.
