"Let's go ladies!" I excitedly hurry Brynn and Eva into my Subaru as I close the trunk.

I don't know how we managed to pull it off but we finally found a long weekend to go visit Maya at her college. We rented a hotel room right down the road from her so she can come stay with us but it's not an inconvenience getting to class.

We're 40 minutes into our trip when Grayson gives me a call, he just got off of work. "Did you guys leave yet?" He asks.

"Yup! Roughly two hours to go."

The girls exchange hellos with him.

"Okay, drive safe and let me know when you get there."

"Will do!" It's nice having someone who cares so much.

It's a three hour drive and I do all of it with ease. We stop halfway for a snack and bathroom. It's 10pm when we arrive to the hotel.

While we're waiting for the paperwork to be printed out I shoot Grayson a quick text telling him we arrived. He answers instantly and tells us to not do anything stupid. We will.

We bring our bags up to our room and text Maya the room number.

She arrives 15 minutes later. Yet again, the three of us tackle her with hugs.

After getting settled and unpacking Maya brings us to Cookout - she can't stop raving about the prices for the quality and quantity of the fast food.

We get back to the hotel room and catch up while we eat.

Day two and we were informed of a party tonight. All four of us have a little bit of spending money, so we decide to go to the mall and splurge on cohesive outfits for tonight. We opt for a black top and medium wash jeans.

Maya decides on a corset style top and a Jean skirt. Eva decides on a intricate bralette and Jean shorts. Brynn decides on ripped skinny jeans and a deep v halter top with an open back. I decide on a silk spaghetti strap crop top that relaxes at the cleavage and ripped high wasted mom jeans.

When it comes time to get changed, all of our outfits look amazing and just like how we pictured in our heads. Eva and I curl our hair, Brynn straightens hers. Maya's long blonde hair is naturally pin straight and she leaves it that way. All of our makeup is neutral with just the right amount of presence.

We pregame at the hotel. As we're waiting for our DD to pick us up, I call Grayson.

"Hello?" He answers right away, there is a lot of noise in the background.

"Hey," I slur followed by a tipsy chuckle.

The girls look at me in a way that says put it on speaker. Before we started drinking we came up with the plan that I'd call for answers and blame it on the alcohol.

"Hi," I can hear him sigh in amusement.

"What did you mean when you said there's so much you want to tell me or whatever." I stumble over my words.

He tries to play it off, "What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean Gray."

"Are you drunk Kiersten?" He never calls me by my full name.

"Yup!" I pop the p for emphasis. "Don't change the subject Mr!"

"You're drunk."

"So? Why can't you just tell me Gray." I urge him on.

There's a loud crash in the background of wherever he is. "I've got to go. Have fun don't drink too much."

"Grays-" the line clicks off before I can even say goodbye.

Well that was pointless.

It's a late start to day three but that's totally fine because all four of us being hungover. We take our time getting up and ready for the day.

We decide on a late lunch at a chain restaurant before Maya takes us on a walking tour of downtown.

It's a beautiful and peaceful area, I can see why she likes it here so much.

We take pictures at sunset and migrate back to the hotel room to go through them and edit.

When everyone is done having their enrichment time as I like to call it, we bring our cards against humanity. It's the perfect way to end our last night.

It's the final morning of our stay. After packing everything into my car and checking out we head to Wawa to stock up for the ride back.

As I'm waiting for my food I'm texting Grayson telling him about how beautiful it is here. I wish I could just pack him up and bring him here, I know Brynn feels the same about Jaxon, and maybe Eva even feels the same about Elias.

The only thing making me want to go home is the fact that I'll get to see Grayson tonight. To my surprise, I look down at my phone to see "come home" under his contact.

It's hard leaving Maya but that text makes it easy knowing I have something - someone - to go back to. The four of us say our goodbyes, I try not to cry as we wave while she exits the Wawa parking lot.

Eva, Brynn and I compose ourselves, organize the car, put music on, and bring up the directions before setting on the three hour drive home.

Grayson here I come!
