A new movie called Gran Turismo just hit theaters last month. Jake had been saying how he and Tristian were wanting to see it, so I suggested that he bring the idea to the Gapplebees group chat.

Jake, Tristan, Darcy, Beau, Jaxon, Brynn and Grayson all agreed to go. Finding a day and time that worked for everyone was absolute hell.

When the day finally arrived, Grayson offered to pick me up and drive us.

On the way there he let me connect to his car's bluetooth and play my music. He's so strange, he's perfectly fine driving with no music playing. I let him know that his behavior is psychotic before proceeding to put on my latest obsession - Jack Harlow.

Although the hype for the movie had died down, there were still some cool cars in the parking lot. I still wish I was able to go when the lot would've looked like a full on car meet - but I'm thankful for my group of people. Seeing our cars lined up next to one another never fails to make me smile.

In the theater Grayson not only bought my ticket; but he bought us popcorn, bought me Dibs ice cream, and a drink for us to share. He sat next to me and held my thigh the whole time.

Gran Turismo was a cinematic masterpiece, Gray let me gush about my favorite parts all the way back to my house.

It started to sprinkle on the drive home, luckily we made it inside before it started to downpour. I invited him inside, to which he agreed without hesitation.

For the first time in months, I lit the vanilla and coconut scented candle I bought with Grayson many moons ago. The light from it illuminated one half of my room, while the light from the other half.

We put a movie on for background noise. He laid on his back and pulled me to lay halfway overtop of him. I sat there contently admiring him while he rested with his eyes closed. The world around us faded.

I rested my chin on my propped up hand and let my eyes flutter shut. Shortly after, I felt him move a strand of hair out of my face. I opened my eyes to see him looking at me.

I commented that I could hear the rain had slightly let up, so now would be a good time for me to walk Aston.

As I got out of bed, I jokingly asked if he would be joining me for our walk.

"Well I'm not going to let you walk alone at night." My heart swelled at his desire to keep me safe.

The October air made the rain cold. When we returned inside and got all dried off, my once straightened hair had already started to form my natural curls in its now dampened state.

We made our way back to my room, and just as I was about to sit on my bed, he grabbed my wrist gingerly and pulled me to him. "Come here."

I gave him a questioning look.

"Dance with me." My eyebrows raised in pleasant surprise at his request.

He held both of my hands with his and swayed us back and forth to no music. "Let's do it properly."

He adjusted us so that my right hand remained in his left to lead, his right hand fell to my waist, and my left rested on his shoulder.

The open space of the wooden floor in my room became our dance floor. He spun me, dipped me, and we just swayed together to no music - not even the end credits of our now finished movie.

I have never slow danced with a guy in a romantic way. Grayson comes straight out of a fairytale. A guy like him is all I've ever dreamed of and more.

Gosh, what is this boy doing to me?

We're laying in bed, he's got his phone propped up so I can see as he scrolls on dealership websites looking at Porsche's.

One in particular catches his eye. It's in the carrara white metallic - which isn't his first choice - but he looks past it because the black interior looks well maintained, the title is clean, it's only had one owner, the mileage is fairly low, and most importantly... it's in his price range.

He glances down at me and gives me a smirk that suggests he's plotting something. "What do you think?"

"It's gorgeous." I tell him honestly.

"If I traded the Focus I could get anywhere from 20 to 25 thousand for it to use as a downpayment." There's a twinkle in his eyes.

"You know that if you can afford the monthly payments after it, I'm going to tell you to buy it. Could you imagine being 20 years old with a Porsche?" I nudge him repeatedly in an excited manner.

"It just sucks that it's three hours away." He mentions as he continues to look at the specs.

"Make a day trip out of it!" I suggest.

"Maybe." His voice trails off as he gets lost in thought.

He tosses his phone, gives me a quick kiss, and then snuggles us closer together. I sigh blissfully as I listen to his heartbeat while he plays with my hair.
