Since bringing the Porsche home the other day, Grayson has been making the rounds and surprising everyone. They all respect him for having such an accomplishment at such a young age. Hearing the stories of how they have been reacting was priceless. Brynn spam texted me after he left Jaxon's house and made his way to see Tristian.

I am so thrilled that he's wanted me to be a part of this new chapter in his life. I mentioned to Brynn how good it feels to be passenger princess in the car his ex will never have the opportunity of experiencing. She just laughed.

Grayson wasted no time pricing out parts for the car. Wrap, a carbon wing, a carbon hood, and a tune will all be done in due time. With winter approaching, I also suggested he invest in a daily driver, so he doesn't have to rely on his parents' vehicles when the weather gets crappy.

He found black wheels he likes and the lowering springs just arrived yesterday, so that's what he and I have been working on today. We just got back from picking up the wheels and mounting them on fresh all weather tires. It's one of those oddly warm days at about 45 degrees and sunny, so we're taking advantage of it.

All the parts are laid out on his paved driveway, and we get to work after jacking the car up and putting it securely on stands.

We complete the back half of the car before deciding we need a food break. Grayson offers me his hand and helps me off of the ground.

He pulls me into a hug, "thank you for everything."

"It's no problem." I rub his back.

He kisses my head before taking a small step back and grabbing my biceps, I move my hands to his ribs.

He looks at me so intently. "Give me a chance, Kiersten."

Now it's my turn to play dumb, "what do you mean?"

"Can I be your boyfriend?"

My heart turns to complete mush. "You are so adorable." I bring my hands to cup his face and he melts into my touch. "That depends... Can I be your girlfriend?"

He kisses me and I take that as a yes.

The rest of the day he is so touchy with me and I am loving every second of it.

When his parents arrive home his mom invites me to stay for dinner, I happily accept. It's nice getting to know them as friends before we announce we're dating.

I adore his mom, her personality is so bright. His dad is very intimidating, but due to how my dad treated me growing up there is pre built in anxiety over making an effort with authoritative male figures. I haven't yet met his older sister as she's still away at school.

It's nice being involved in a family dinner, my family is very independent. It's refreshing to see parents have a good bond with each other and with their child - I'm happy for them but it also makes me wonder what I've missed out on.

After dinner I offer to help clean up, his mom thanks me but declines. Grayson helps her without being asked to, and his dad makes his way to the couch. I move from the dining room table to the island in the kitchen to continue getting to know his mom.

We excuse ourselves and he invites me up to his room.

We play a few rounds of a boxing game before I get sick of him repeatedly kicking my ass. We mutually decided on the 2004 live action Garfield movie.

As the movie goes on the kissing gets more intense and he gets a lot touchier. I don't mind it - I enjoy it - but the fact that his parents are home keeps me on edge.

Not only that, but we're in the same bed he and his ex have done stuff in, with the same sheets and blankets. I can't shake the thought that he's only so good at what he does because he did it with her. I know that's not fair but I can't help it, I hate that I'm insecure and inexperienced.

The touching and kissing turns to cuddling. He ends up falling asleep, I've been drifting in and out of consciousness.

We both wake up as the end credits play.

It's cold outside so he insists on going out to start my car for me. I stay snuggled in his blankets.

When he comes back upstairs he gives me a quick kiss. I get out of bed and put my shoes on. He gives me a long hug before making our way downstairs.

I say goodnight to his parents and thank them for having me over. Grayson walks me out to my car and asks that I text him when I'm home safe, I do.
