Graduating middle school is awesome but now Kurt and his friends look forward to go to high school mostly because they are finally all together. And even betteer now are the holidays. Good weather, the sun is shining and the group of friends has a lot of things planned.
Still Blaine doesn't leave Kurts mind. That has two different reasons. One is that Blaine didn't knew how the holidays will go and he can't wait for the next letter from Blaine that updates him on everything. The other is the present Blaine got Kurt for his birthday. A black and yellow bracelet with a braided optic. Black is simpleand goes with everything and yellow as Blaines favorite color to always remind him of Blaine.
Now Kurt also knows what to get Blaine for his birthday. To make it an official friendship bracelet Kurt will get Blaine the same bracelet but in black and red. They will wear each others favorite color.
The first two weeks of the holidays are filled with going to the sea with his friends, swimming, picnicing and eating ice cream. But after two weeks Kurts plans for the holidays change completely upside down. The friends went to the park today and to their favorite ice cream shop so it's a bit late when Kurt comes home and Burt waits for him on the couch.
"Hey Kurt. Before you go up to your room could you sit down for a second? I need to talk to you" he says and waits until his confused looking son sits down next to him. "You know the house down the street that's empty since a few months right?" the man asks and Kurt nods "And you also know that it's bigger than ours right?". Again Kurt nods but then it finally clicks "Wait! Are we moving there? And do we move in with Carol and Finn? Did you finally asked her to move in with you?".
"Slow down Kurt" Burt laughs "Yes I asked her. She said yes and while I'm talking to you Carol is talking to Finn about the same thing". "I'm sure he's okay with that too nad oh the next step is marriage. I'm so so hapy for you dad" Kurt squeals and Burt laughs "One step after another son".
The very same day Kurt sits down at his desk and writes a letter to the person he wants to tell before Finn and he can tell Sam and Rachel.

Dear Blaine
Today my friends and I went out to get some ice cream but after that something happened, Something big, Important but so amazing,
My dad asked Carol to move in with us!! And she said yes!! And Finn and I are both on board too!!
Plus we're moving into a bigger house so Finn and I can have our own room and I even have my own bathroom, The house is just dow our street so not that far away, I give you my new adress once we move,
I'm so exited and so happy, When he told me my dad looked so happy and that tmade me happy,
Finn and I talk on the phone later tonight and plan how we tell Sam and Rachel tomorrow when we go to the sea again because we really want to surprise them. I'll tell you how it went,

The next day at the sea the friends take a break from swiming and playing games and everything and decide to take the food out and do a picnic. "Guys I have news" Finn says after taking a piece of watermelon. "What's up?" Sam asks, speaking for them all. Well maybe just for him and Rachel. "You can't come to my house anymore soon" Finn continues.
Rachel looks at him in shock "What? Why?". "Because I'm moving" Finn simply says and takes a big bite from the watermelon. "Talking about moving. Can we move the movie night to your house then Kurt?" Sam asks. They originally planned it at Finn's.
But the questioned boy shakes his head "Sorry guys but my house is out of question too". "And what's your reason?" his best friend asks and Kurt simply repeats Finn "I'm moving". Both boys smirk.
When Sam and Rachel say nothing Kurt laughs "Guys I think you stayed in the sun too long. It's not that hard to combine. Finn and I are both moving because my dad asked Carol to movie together and she said yes so we're moving in together in a bigger house down my street so Finn and I still have our own room".
"Oh my god" Rachel and Sam say at the same time before hugging their friends tightly. "I swear to god before we all know you two will be step-brothers" Rachel adds and Kurt smiles "I actually think that would be great and will happen sooner or later".
Agreeing Finn nods "We already do so much together that it already feels like we are brothers sometimes. I think even more when we live under the same roof but I'm just so happy to see my mom happy". "Same about my dad" Kurt answers and both smile at each other. One day they will be oficial step brothers. They just know it.

That's so exiting. I'm really happy for you and your dad and of course Finn and Carol.
Can't wait to get your new adress and updates about how it is once you moved. I mean own bathroom? Hello! If I didn't had one myself I would get jealous and believe me it's heaven when no one can annoy you while you get ready. Especially with the time you told me you take for skin care. No one annoying you to hurry up.
Did you and Finn had success with the surprise? How did you tell them?
Holidays are okay but boring. I thought they would be worse tho. I go out after my dad want to work and I take some things with me like guitar and a song book and a book and I stay out until my mom text me when I should get home for dinner again.
Dinner is always pretty quiet and often that I go to my room and lock the door. I put my headphones in and listen to music while reading. By the way I'm running out of books so recomandations are welcome.
You realized that you and Finn most likely will be step brothers in the future right? How are you feeling about this?
