The painting above the fireplace depicted someone MK used to be—a leader everyone in their group admired. But to MK, that person felt like a stranger. He often wondered who he really was and why his memories felt so fragmented.

One day, feeling restless, MK was drawn to the teleportation pad in the corner of their home. He stepped onto it and found himself on a remote island with a towering mountain and a crashing waterfall. As MK walked along the beach, he noticed a monkey observing him from a distance. But what truly caught his attention was a large yellow fox, nearly the size of a lioness, that appeared from the shadows. The fox approached, sniffed MK’s hand, and then gently nudged him back toward the teleportation pad. The fox followed him back to the base, where MK soon fell asleep on the sofa, the fox settling down on the floor beside him.

Later, when Tang and Pigsy returned from a mission, they noticed the fox immediately.

"WHY THE HELL IS THERE A FOX?!" Pigsy exclaimed, his eyes wide with shock.

"Oh, he followed me home," MK murmured sleepily. "I’ve named him Nodiles. Can we keep him?"

Tang, already charmed by the fox, nodded. "Yeah, let’s keep him. He might help keep the humans away from our base."

"TANG, WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE THE SMART ONES!" Pigsy protested, still looking at the fox with concern. But seeing that the others were in favor, he sighed in resignation and left the room, grumbling to himself.

"So he’s staying?" MK asked, now fully awake.

Tang nodded, feeling that there was something familiar about Nodiles, even if he couldn’t quite place why. Whatever the reason, it seemed Nodiles was meant to be part of their team.
