Red Son looked around the cozy, wooden house with a mix of curiosity and confusion. His eyes settled on the fridge, a large, mysterious object standing against the wall. "What is that?" he asked, his voice tinged with both suspicion and fascination as he approached the appliance. He opened the fridge door and then the freezer, a burst of cold air hitting his face.

MK, standing nearby, couldn’t help but chuckle. "It's a fridge. It keeps food cold," he explained, joining Red Son by the fridge. MK opened the freezer and pulled out a Captain Cat ice cream sandwich. "This is ice cream. Here, eat it," MK said, handing the treat to Red Son.

Red Son took the ice cream sandwich but, unfamiliar with Earth customs, tried to bite into it without unwrapping it. MK quickly intervened, laughing softly. "No, no, no, let me see it," MK said as he gently took the ice cream sandwich back, unwrapped it, and handed it to Red Son.

Red Son hesitated for a moment before taking a bite. His eyes widened, and a look of pure delight spread across his face as he tasted the cold, creamy dessert. The stars in his eyes said it all—he was hooked. After swallowing, he looked at MK with a new sense of appreciation. "I can teach you everything Earth has. What about it?" MK offered as he closed the freezer.

Red Son, still savoring the ice cream, tried to open the freezer again, but Pigsy stepped in, gently pushing the door shut. "You know what? I’ll take you up on that offer. I need to know more about this miserable planet," Red Son agreed, walking over to MK with a newfound determination.

MK smiled, leading Red Son on a tour of the house. They stopped at the bathroom, where MK explained, "This is the bathroom where we clean ourselves, use the toilet, and wash our heads."

Red Son looked puzzled. "What do you lower gems need to use a 'toilet' for?" he asked, peering into the toilet bowl.

MK, a bit flustered, turned around. "We use the toilet... um, well, you should ask Mei. She uses it the most," he suggested, avoiding the awkward conversation.

He turned back to find Red Son curled up in a ball, sitting inside the toilet bowl, fiddling with the flush mechanism. Water splashed around as Red Son experimented, clearly amused by the strange contraption.

A little while later, MK and Red Son walked through the streets of Shadowfen, taking in the sights of the docks and various shops. MK pointed at a diner with a bright sign that read "Chica's Pizza." "Here, try a French fry pizza. It's really good," MK said as he led Red Son into the diner. MK ordered a slice, paid for it, and handed it to Red Son.

Red Son took a bite and his eyes lit up once again as he experienced the unique flavors. The duo continued their exploration, eventually arriving at the Mokie Arcade. They played every game they could, MK showing Red Son the ins and outs of Earth’s entertainment.

Later, Mei joined them, and they spent hours tasting different foods and playing more games together. The day was filled with laughter and excitement, a rare break from the usual chaos.

At one point, Mei pulled MK aside while Red Son was engrossed in a Mokie Mech game. "Hey, can me and Red Son have three hours to ourselves?" she asked, winking suggestively.

MK, completely oblivious to Mei’s intentions, nodded enthusiastically. "Sure!" he said before heading home, leaving Mei and Red Son to their own devices.

Back at the house, MK settled down to review some notes with Nodiles, the two of them absorbed in their work. Suddenly, the door slammed open, and Sandy's booming voice filled the room. "HEY, LITTLE GUY! I got some food!" Sandy announced, hauling bags of groceries into the kitchen.

Pigsy and Tang followed, helping to put everything away while Sandy gave MK a hearty pat on the back. Nodiles, content and full, jumped onto the couch and quickly fell asleep.

After dinner, MK decided to check on Mei and Red Son. He wandered through the town until he reached the park, where he spotted them. Red Son was sitting on the grass, staring intently at a single leaf, as if trying to understand its mysteries. Mei sat nearby on a bench, watching him with a small smile.

"Hey, you guys!" MK called out as he ran over.

Red Son turned around and walked up to MK. "So, where am I staying?" he asked, his tone serious.

MK grinned. "Oh, at my place," he replied without hesitation.

Mei, standing up a bit clumsily, approached MK with a hopeful expression. "Can we have a sleepover?" she asked, but before MK could respond, Mei’s mother called her home, cutting the moment short. Mei sighed, gave MK and Red Son a quick wave, and left for home, leaving the two boys to head back to MK's house.
