Mei was enjoying a break from her missions, spending time with her friends at the Immortal Peaches Lounge. The group, consisting of Kil, the blonde boy; Kiti, the ginger girl; Ati, the emo boy; and Rer, the black-haired girl, had invited Mei to join them for a fun night out. Mei, though younger at 18, fit right in with the group of young adults. They set up various games like Don't Wake the Shadow Monster, Puzzle Race, and Small Monty's Golf Course, and indulged in lots of pizza and milkshakes. Kiti accidentally woke the shadow monster, Mei won the Puzzle Race, Ati triumphed in Mini Golf, and Rer excelled in the eating competition. They spent the evening taking selfies and posting pictures online.
After the lounge, the group headed to the park. Mei noticed Mk and Red Son having a serious conversation. Mk was sitting on a bench, while Red Son stood beside him. Mei, eager to join her friends, waved at them but they didn’t notice her.
"We’re going to a concert in the neighboring town. You have to come with us," Kil said, pulling Mei’s attention back to the car.
Mei agreed and got into the car with the group, leaving Mk and Red Son behind. They drove off to the concert.
Mk remained on the park bench, enjoying the calm surroundings until he heard footsteps. He opened his eyes to see Red Son approaching. "Oh, hi. Sorry, I just wanted to be left alone," Mk said, trying to gently push Red Son away.
"You know you can get rid of the four eyes, especially for Zaxvins like you," Red Son said, standing next to Mk, who looked confused.
"What are Zaxvins?" Mk asked, puzzled.
Red Son appeared shocked. "How would you not know that you were a Zaxvin? Your parents would have to be present for you to exist."
Mk began to cry. "I DON'T KNOW! I’m sorry, I haven't been myself. I’ve woken up in places in the temple I don’t recognize, and all my memories are gone. I know I used to be a great leader, but I decided to start anew and know nothing now. I’m sorry."
Red Son sighed and pulled Mk into a comforting hug. "It’s okay," he said softly. After a moment, he gently pushed Mk away. "Now, I’m going to teach you how to change your entire look as a Zaxvin. You’ll need to prove yourself first, but I’ll still show you. I already have the hologram to design your new look."
Red Son produced a hologram and began working with Mk on designing his new appearance. Mk looked up, still processing. "Wait, I’m an ametrine?"
Just then, Mei arrived at the park after leaving the Immortal Peaches Lounge. She snuck up behind the two. "BOO!" she shouted.
Red Son jumped, screaming in surprise, while Mk winced and covered his ears. "Mei, that was loud," Mk said, uncovering his four ears.
The trio, now dubbed The Traffic Light Trio, spent the rest of the night drawing and planning until they had to part ways and head home.
