Mo, Sandy’s orange and blue cat with striking fur patterns, was lazily napping on the edge of a boat. The sun was high in the bright blue sky, and fluffy white clouds drifted lazily above. A sudden gust of wind jolted Mo, causing him to lose his balance and tumble onto the dock where the boat was tied. Disoriented and in pain, Mo began to make his way up the dock, his paws padding along the hot, sun-baked pavement.Mo continued his trek until he arrived at Wade Dra’s bait shop. Wade, a black-haired man known for providing the freshest fish in town, owned the shop. Mo, driven by hunger, jumped onto the counter and snatched a large fish from the tank. As Mo made his escape, Wade, who was in the middle of serving a customer, noticed the theft. Infuriated, Wade grabbed a broom and stormed after Mo, who quickly leapt out of the shop's window and sprinted down the sidewalk.
Wade was hot on Mo's trail, swinging the broom in frustration. Mo darted into a nearby stall, trying to evade capture. Wade ran up to the stall, his frustration palpable. A peculiar woman with purple skin and wild hair emerged from the shadows, She greeted Wade, "Oh, hey there, sugar. Looking to buy something?"
Wade, his temper rising, replied, “No, I’m looking for the cat that steals my fish.”
The woman pointed to the back, saying, “Oh, I found the cat. He’s in the back hiding.” She led Wade to a hidden entrance, where he fell through a trapdoor.
Mo, observing the chaos, abandoned the fish and rushed to find Sandy. He searched the house but only found Nodiles asleep. Mo's frantic meowing woke Nodiles, who, alarmed by Mo's distress, followed him back to the stall. There, they discovered the lever that opened the trapdoor. Both jumped down into the hidden chamber.
The underground room was a vast, eerie space covered in thick spider webs. Mo and Nodiles navigated through the webbed area, hearing muffled screams echoing through the cavernous space. Mo used his sharp claws to slash through the webs, revealing Wade entangled in the webbing. Nodiles quickly grabbed Wade and helped him out of the trap, leaving Mo behind.
The woman returned, her lower body that was now revealed to be of a spider's, moving with an unsettling grace. She seized Mo and threw him into a cauldron filled with a swirling green liquid.
In an instant, Mo jolted awake, finding himself back on the boat's edge. Sandy, who had noticed Mo's sudden awakening, scooped him up and said, “Hey, little guy, you fell asleep,” gently petting him. Mo, disoriented, stumbled against the boat wall before running back to the stall. To his confusion, the stall had vanished. He hurried home and checked the calendar—it was the 26th. The entire experience felt like a vivid dream or perhaps a glimpse into the future, leaving Mo bewildered as he tried to reconcile what he had seen.
