MK had been waiting anxiously for the Monkey King to return from his mission with Ne Zha, who was tracking down the Spider Queen. It had been two long weeks, and MK was starting to lose hope. It was Macaque, of all people, who finally pulled MK out of his slump, quite literally.

"Come on, kid, you can’t just mope around forever," Macaque said, his blue-black tail wrapped firmly around MK’s wrist, dragging him out of the house.

MK resisted, dragging his feet. "I just want to be left alone."

"You'll thank me later," Macaque replied with a cryptic smile, his voice brimming with mischief. MK sighed but followed along, sensing that Macaque had something up his sleeve.

As they walked through the town, Macaque casually asked, "By the way, what day is it?"

MK checked his phone. "October 26th. Why?"

"Oh, you’ll see," Macaque said, his tone teasing. MK raised an eyebrow but didn’t push further.

They soon arrived at a bustling marketplace, approaching a familiar stall where they found Nodiles standing alongside Wade, the popular fish seller, who looked more than a little rattled.

"That blue cat thief—she’s still down there with her!" Wade stammered, gesturing toward a trapdoor.

MK’s curiosity was piqued, but before he could process what was happening, Macaque shoved him down the trapdoor. MK tumbled down, landing with a thud on something—or rather, someone. Mo, the blue cat, immediately started pawing at his face, as if trying to calm him.

As MK looked up, his heart skipped a beat. Before him stood a woman with long black hair, emerald green eyes, and a lower half that was unmistakably a spider's. A fractured green Spider Web Jasper was embedded in her cheek, barely holding together.

"SPIDER!" MK shouted, his fear of spiders kicking in. The woman’s eyes narrowed, her gaze locking onto MK’s gem.

"Qi Xiaotian," she hissed, recognition flaring in her eyes, which darkened to a sinister green. "You!"

Without warning, she lunged at him, her fangs bared. MK barely had time to roll out of the way, summoning his hammer from his gem just in time to block her next strike. The force of her punch reverberated through the hammer, pushing MK back, but he managed to use the momentum to steady himself.

"You took my kingdom! You shattered me!" she screamed, her voice dripping with venomous rage. She charged again, but before she could reach him, a red staff shot through the air, striking her with such precision that it pinned her to the ground, shattering the earth beneath her.

The Spider Queen’s form dissipated into smoke, leaving only her gem behind. Wukong appeared, catching the gem effortlessly and bubbling it without hesitation.

"MONKEY KING!" MK yelled, relief and excitement washing over him as he leaped onto Wukong’s outstretched hand, clinging to him like a lifeline.

Wukong, his usual cocky demeanor back in place, turned to Ne Zha, who had appeared at the edge of the cave. "Here’s the Spider Queen. Now fulfill your part of the deal and leave," Wukong said, his voice taking on a dark, commanding tone.

Ne Zha sighed, a hint of reluctance in his expression. "I will, but remember what I warned you—someone with more power may come next."

MK, still trying to piece together what had just happened, approached Ne Zha. "Hey, can I ask you some questions?"

Ne Zha stepped back, clearly uncomfortable with how close MK was getting. "No, I must go," he said, his flaming wheels igniting as he zoomed out of the cave, leaving a trail of pink fire in his wake.

Wukong, his tone lightening again, turned to MK. "So, kid, what did you do while I was gone?"

MK, still processing everything, could only shrug. "Not much, I guess."

Meanwhile, Ne Zha returned to the beach where a lotus-shaped spaceship awaited him. The door opened, revealing Iron Fan, who seemed both relieved and concerned.

"I’ve got the Spider Web Gem," Ne Zha announced as he entered the ship.

Iron Fan’s expression remained serious. "But what about—"

Ne Zha cut her off with a stern look. "There's no need to worry. I’ll send others to deal with Qi Xiaotian. For now, we need to return home."

Iron Fan raised an eyebrow, sensing there was more to the story, but she didn’t press further. The spaceship’s door closed behind Ne Zha, and they ascended into the sky, heading back to their homeworld.

Inside, Ne Zha retreated to his private quarters—a serene room with cascading pink waterfalls, a bed framed by lotus petals, and ponds filled with lily pads. The Spider Queen awaited him, her form now restored but with mechanical spider legs attached to her back.

"Third Lotus Emerald, thank you for bringing me home," she said, bowing deeply.

"Of course, Spider Queen," Ne Zha replied. "Now, go and unbubble your army. Send three of them back to Earth. The Red Diamond wants the Ametrine unshattered."

The Spider Queen hesitated. "But do you know why?"

Ne Zha sighed, shaking his head. "No, but whatever the reason is, it might change everything."

He tossed her the bubble containing the Spider Web Jasper, which she caught deftly. "The Red Diamond also doesn’t want any of the other gems to know of his plan," Ne Zha added.

The Spider Queen nodded, leaving Ne Zha alone in his room, deep in thought about the potential consequences of the Red Diamond’s mysterious orders.
