Mei sat outside the base, absorbing the fresh cliff air as flowers swirled around her. She was supposed to return home to her mom, but she hesitated, feeling a peculiar sense of déjà vu, as if she had experienced this moment before, perhaps in another life. After the eclipse, a strange feeling had settled over her.
Suddenly, her peace was shattered by distant screams. Mei sprang up and dashed towards the house. "YOU GUYS, THERE'S SOMETHING GOING ON IN SHADOWFEN!" Mei shouted, urgently alerting Bloodstone and Sandy. Bloodstone, with a concerned look, grabbed Mei with their four arms. “Sorry, Mei, we already lost one child; we aren’t losing another,” Bloodstone said firmly. He swiftly carried Mei back inside and locked the door behind him, leaving her with a worried expression as he and Sandy rushed towards the town.
As Bloodstone and Sandy arrived in Shadowfen, they were met with a horrifying sight. The town was in chaos, with a monstrous shadow creature wreaking destruction. The beast had purple, glowing eyes, a moon-shaped emblem on its chest, and an unsettling X mark on its right eye. The creature's presence struck terror in their hearts.
Bloodstone charged at the monster with their weapon, striking it on the head. The monster roared in fury, seizing Bloodstone with its tail and nearly shattering the fusion. If not for Sandy’s quick thinking, using water to encapsulate the shadow in a bubble, Bloodstone might have been destroyed. The shadow monster struggled violently within the bubble, its eyes fixated on something in the distance, a disturbing smile spreading across its face.
"Bloodstone, are you okay?" Sandy asked, catching up to the fusion.
“No, I’m not okay. I nearly got SHATTERED!” Bloodstone shouted, their voice filled with panic as they glared at the monster’s menacing smile. “WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SMILING? YOU’RE IN A WATER BUBBLE!”
The monster's response was a sinister, echoing laugh. Before Bloodstone and Sandy could react, a blinding flash of light erupted, followed by a forceful impact that caused a deep crater and burst the bubble trapping the shadow monster. As the light dimmed, they looked up to see a new, formidable creature emerging. This monster, glowing with a pure yellow aura and hair like flowing sunlight, had a sun shape emblazoned on its chest. It glared at the other monster with an intense focus before lifting it onto a stardust cloud. The yellow monster then ascended towards the temple, taking the shadow creature with it.
“HEY, GET YOUR BITCH ASS BACK HERE!” Bloodstone yelled, desperation lacing their voice. Seizing Sandy, they fused once more, forming a new, powerful entity with water wings. They soared after the yellow monster, determined to prevent any further destruction and uncover the truth behind these terrifying events.
