Mei paced restlessly after the fierce battle with Poudretteite. The group had been unable to sleep, haunted by the sight of Mk's gem fused with Poudretteite and the formidable strength of the fusion. The fusion's rage was palpable, and the loss of Mk was deeply felt. They all knew that Mk, despite his current state, wouldn’t have wanted to harm them. With the eclipse scheduled for today, the sense of urgency was heightened. Tang had organized a gathering on the beach to witness the event, and Mei, although reluctantly, was seated by Tang, who had made safety glasses for everyone. Pigsy, the last to join, put on his glasses and glanced at Tang, who held Mk’s glasses with a mournful expression.

Poudretteite, ensnared in shadow chains and submerged in lava, struggled against its bonds. Its fiery hair flowed with the force of its attempts to break free. “We should talk,” Poudretteite growled, its voice reverberating with frustration. “ABOUT WHAT?” it demanded, the chains rattling as it thrashed. “Look, we can’t remain fused forever,” it continued, “but I can’t allow you to harm those I care about. I will keep you here until we reach an agreement.” Poudretteite's eyes were fixed on the chains that held it to the volcano’s hot, molten interior. “No, this could work in my favor. Your friends will be so preoccupied searching for you that they won’t notice the other gems leaving,” it sneered as the chains tightened further. “FUSIONS AREN’T MEANT TO BE USED FOR THIS!” Its eyes glowed with a fierce yellow light as it looked up at the moon, which was now aligning with the sun.

Poudretteite then began to recount its tale. “Let me tell you the real story of Sun Wukong,” it said, its voice filled with a dark reverence. “He was the greatest Sunstone hero created on a red giant on Gemsoily, alongside Macaque, a Moonstone Warrior born on the dark side of the moon. Together, they colonized countless planets. But they discovered a new way to gain power by creating Zaxvins. Initially, it was believed on our home world that Sunstone and Moonstone were the first to create Zaxvins, and the concept of fusions was unknown until I meet you, when you told me about fusions, I connected the dots,"

Four of Poudretteite’s eyes widened as it continued, “However, the truth is that Sunstone and Moonstone created a powerful being called Qi Xiaotian, who only appeared when they were in conflict. Sunstone joined a rebel group called the Brotherhood, with Moonstone as his ally. When the Brotherhood fell, Sunstone fled on a stardust cloud, leaving Moonstone to rejoin the empire. Sunstone managed to persuade the greatest minds of the empire to join him, and they fled to this planet. They battled Moonstone for years until Sunstone finally defeated him, shattering Moonstone. Upon hearing this, the Jade Dragons came to Earth and wiped out all gem life.”

As the eclipse reached its zenith, Poudretteite’s voice grew darker. “But their powers were too immense. Without gems to contain them, they became dark versions of themselves. The Moonstone was locked inside the Sun, and the Sunstone was trapped inside the Moon. They will only be freed when Qi Xiaotian is found and alive during an eclipse. I wonder how your friends will handle the most powerful gems on Earth.”

The moon was now completely obscuring the sun, and the eerie light of the eclipse cast long shadows over the beach, deepening the sense of foreboding.
