MK was packing his bag for his first mission. Mei was out sick, so it was just him and Sandy on the boat, along with the others. As MK boarded, he noticed Bloodstone lounging on a nearby chair. Sandy untied the boat from the dock and guided it out into the open ocean.

"Alright, little guy, your first mission is a classic—fishing!" Sandy said, handing MK a fishing pole and setting him up by the railing. "And Bloodstone, you’re joining us whether you like it or not." Sandy then pulled Bloodstone over and handed him a net.

The three of them spent the next ten hours fishing, catching a total of 220 fish. "You two did great," Sandy said, collecting the gear. MK leaned over the side of the boat, watching the calm water below, teeming with fish. Among them, he spotted a purple shark. He reached out toward it, but suddenly, the boat rocked, and he tumbled into the water, startling the fish.

The shark bit into MK's jacket and began swimming rapidly away from the boat. "MK!" Bloodstone shouted as the shark pulled him farther and farther from the boat.

Eventually, the shark brought MK to a cave. It released him near a climbable rock, then swam off. MK clambered onto the rock, finding himself in an unfamiliar cave. The walls were adorned with paintings depicting a story of two gems: one who harnessed the power of a blue sun and another who mastered the power of shadows. Together, they fought against the Empire, but the sun betrayed the moon, fleeing to another planet with other allies, while the moon was left to face the consequences alone. The story unfolded across ten intricate paintings. Other paintings were present, but they had been destroyed, leaving their tales untold.

A low growl echoed through the cave, snapping MK back to the present. He turned to see a massive, horned monster with a gem where its left eye should have been. The monster slashed at one of the paintings before locking its eye on MK. It charged at him, raising a claw to strike, but a light suddenly emanated from MK's gem. Instinctively, MK summoned a staff and struck the monster away. He then threw the staff into the air, summoning gauntlets, and with a powerful smash, transformed the staff into a hammer.

The monster hesitated, seemingly recognizing the weapon, but then shook its head and charged again. MK leaped forward, slamming the shadow hammer onto the monster’s head. The creature collapsed mid-charge, reverting to its gem form. MK picked up the gem, panting.

"MK! MK, OH THANK GOODNESS YOU’RE ALIVE!" Bloodstone’s voice echoed through the cave as they ran toward him, checking for injuries. "I poofed someone," MK said, holding out the gem.

"QUICK, BUBBLE IT!" Bloodstone shouted. MK quickly bubbled the gem, sending it to the temple.

"C'mon, let’s get out of here. Sandy's waiting, and we can celebrate your first bubble," Bloodstone said, guiding MK back to the boat.
