ARIS's POV
@our hotel
I wake up early in the morning while Ellie and the girls are still in sound sleep. As I went downstairs to prepare coffee for the two of us and milk for the two girls. I started preparing our breakfast.
I hear tip toes going down the stairs...
"Good morning, sweetheart!" I greeted Ellie
"Good morning cooking Governor," she replied and hugged me from my back,"
I froze. I was surprised by Ellie hugging me.
"Why? You don't like it?" she asks...
"No... No. I don't mean like that. I am surprised, and I feel happy," I said as I turned back and hugged Ellie.
"Thank you for your patience..." Ellie
"Nothing to worry about. I am the one supposed to be thankful for the chance you are giving me," I said
"I hope you can bear with me. Honestly, I am doing my best to forget everything and restore what we used to be," Ellie said.
"With those words, I am happy. It is more than enough. I know the depth of my wrongdoings. I am fortunate enough you are giving me another chance,"
"Thank you,"
"Please don't cry,"
"I can't explain what I feel,"
"Dont rush things, as I have said, no pressure,"
Ellie hugs me tight and gives me a peck on my lips. That time I could not control my emotions, and I cried.
"Hey, Aris?"
"Nothing, sweetheart,"
"Owwwwwwww... why only the two of you hugging there!!!???" Arra
"That's unfair!!!" Ella
They came running towards us, and they hugged our legs... and motioned for me to carry them.
"Your dad will break his spine carrying you both..."
"No, no... I am big ma, right?"
"Hmmmm... Mommy, you care!?" Arra
"Hahahaha... yes, Daddy, she did,"
"Okay, take your seats... breakfast is ready," I said
"Wow... pancakes, ham, bacon, toasted bread, fried rice," Arra
"Yummyyyyy!" Ella
"You cook for us, Daddy?" Arra
"Yeah," I replied
"Wow, every morning you cook for us. Thank you, Daddy," Ella
"I will be happy cooking all your breakfast, except---"
"When your out-of-town, Daddy,"
"Yes,"
"After breakfast, you clean up, we will go to PMA, right?" Ellie
"Yes, sweetheart."
I have booked our visit for PMA. We are allowed to visit from 8:30 a.m. to noon," Aris said while we were having our breakfast.
