chapter 41 (history repeat itself)

ELLIE's POV

It's been two months that I cannot sleep well if Aris is not beside me. I wonder why.

Since I cannot sleep, I decided to go to Aris's office and I will have my nap there. I can sleep soundly seeing Aris and smelling him.

When I was in his office, I asked his secretary if I could proceed.

"Ma'am, the Governor is not in his office, he attended a meeting,"

"Ohhh I see..."

"Yes, Ma'am,"

"Where?"

"At Cloche Food Haven... Just ask from the information counter where is the room reserved for Governor del Fierro,"

"Thank you very much,"

"Welcome, Ma'am,"

I drive off towards Cloche Food Haven.

When I introduced myself as the wife of Governor del Fierro a staff guided me towards the VIP room.

"Others have already left Ma'am, but Atty del Fierro and one of the Contractors are still inside,"

"Okay, it will not take me long, a few seconds will do,"

"No worries, Ma'am,"

In the belief that it is a meeting,  I slowly open the door so as not to disturb those inside having a meeting. I will not talk to Aris, I know he is busy...I will just have a peek at him, then I will go.

As I opened the door slowly, I was able to enter without a noise.

I was not able to disturb the two people still inside the room... But to my shock, they are not in a meeting, they are making out.

My vision gets red...I want to throw them a chair a table or anything...

I pick the glass and I throw at them... They are lucky enough that I was not able to hit them... I can't throw with force, I am trembling. Around 5 glasses I continuously threw at them but I failed to hit them...all the glasses turned into hundred tiny pieces.

Aris tried to come to me but he could not come... If he attempts, I throw him a glass.

When I feel tired, I turn back, get out of the door and run away.

I entered a beauty saloon... I asked for a haircut...

"Kindly trim my hair into a boy's bob..."

"But Maam your hair is so healthy, long shiny straight back hair... You can be a shampoo or conditioner model,"

"I ask you one thing, cut my hair or let me borrow your scissors, I'll cut it myself,"

ARIS's POV

I was shocked when I saw Ellie enter the room and see me in a compromising situation.

I can't easily get near her, she's throwing glasses at me... Later, she turned her back, got out of the room, and fled.

I run after her, but she's no longer outside. I saw our car. I peep in the side mirror, no one is inside the car.

I wonder where is Ellie. I rushed going home... She's not there.

After an hour, I saw the car she used getting inside...

I rush going downstairs to meet her.

I was surprised to see her in a boy's bob-cut hair. I don't care about her hair...
