chapter 32 (my everything)

ELLIE's POV

Britney and I continue our chit-chats interrupted by the intruders.

"I am happy you reconciled," Britney said.

"That's what Ivan is always insisting on me, but I refused. But there was a time when Arra got sick... She is getting worse every day... Aris's butler called me up, and he begged to visit Arra, and that was the time I went back to the Philippines... The little girl recovered fast, but she was always crying. She pleaded with me and Ella not to leave her...it broke my heart. And from there, we are back in each other's arms,"   

"Arra was your little cupid,"

"Yeah... And to see them with Ivan here in Aris's vacation house, I am sure there was something fishy, hahaha,"

"Ivan told me that when he called up the two girls, they suggested leaving you and Governor alone to give you time and space,"

"That two girls are very clever. Their minds are very mature," I said

"Ivan introduced you both to me to avoid misunderstanding and doubts,"

"I am so lucky I met Ivan. He supported me for more than six years as if Ella was his child. He brought us home to Belgium after 2 months after I gave birth to Ella. He introduced me to his parents as his friend, nothing more. The olds were too kind. They accepted me and Ella, they loved us,"

"Ivan parent's are kind? I haven't met them yet,"

"Yes, they are. They are good to me and Ella... I am sure they will be most kind to you, being their son's fiancee,"

"I am nervous meeting them,"

"Don't,"

"Can you go with us to Belgium? When we meet Ivan parent's,"

"I like that... But I tell Aris about the plan first, if he can clear his calendar...when will that be?"

"No fixed date for now,"

"I'll ask Ivan later so that Aris can clear his calendar,"

"Wow...thank you!"

"No worries,"

"I saw you in pictures with Ivan... My first impression was that you have  a strong personality, but I was wrong,"

"Blame Ivan for this... When we reached Belgium, he told me to change my appearance from naive to feisty... And the foolish man enjoyed seeing me look a feisty b*itch, hahaha,"

"Haha..."

"He coached me how to behave when I and Aris meet again... And his ideas clicked. Aris was puzzled as to why I didn't recognize him. But when Ella introduced herself, that was the thing we didn't remember to teach Ella her full name. When asked her name,  she fluently said --- I am Ella Toni Aturdido...I saw Aris's eyes sparkle, then fade out, then puzzled. Haha,"
