ARIS's POV
At home
It's a sunny Saturday morning, Ellie and I are in our front yard Ellie trying a few steps after our morning coffee.
"Do more sweetheart..." I am assisting Ellie to walk without a cane, she's now free from her wheelchair.
"Aris, I did more steps today than yesterday..." Ellie
"You can walk back to normal in a few days, believe me," I said
"I'll try to have more steps tomorrow,"
"Good...you're recovering fast, but don't be in a hurry... Have your rest now,"
Ellie walks slowly towards the swing.
"Thank you for your patience, Aris,"
"No need to thank me... I am more happy to see you walk without your cane,"
"I remember the resort of the LC boys and family, very relaxing,"
"Like a beach?"
"Yes...I can find peace on the beach,"
"Then you'll have,"
"You have a beach?"
"Our beach," I said
"Ohhhh wow:"
"How about we develop our place in Samal?"
"You have a resort there?"
"Not mine, ours... We have, but undeveloped, I have no time,"
"Uninhabited?"
"There's a caretaker, it's a long coastline, around a kilometer planted with coconuts... And they're grazing cows and goats," I said
"Wow..." Ellie
"There's a one-room vacation house there, it's maintained...what about we spend summer there,"
"Seems nice idea," Ellie
"The kids will enjoy there...they can swim anytime, there's a shady part there," I said
"That's nice, the kids will not get sunburned," Ellie
"Then we will prepare, we'll go tomorrow after breakfast," I said
"Okay, surely they will like it, "Ellie
"Let's bring their Nannies, though Dex and Rex are now 2 years old, They're manageable but we need watchers when they're on the beach..."
"Only if I can walk normally, I can take care of them,"
"Don't rush yourself, when you fully recovered, you can take care of them" I said
"You won't find it hard?" Ellie
"No..." I answered
"Are you not tired of me?" Ellie
"Sweetheart, don't think of that. I will never get tired... I leave my position as Gov.. because of you. You are my everything," I said
"You give up your political career for me," Ellie
"I did it with all my heart. I want to devote my time to you and the kids. By running the hospital and a doctor, I can provide all your needs," I said
"Thank you... When I fully recover, can I help you in the hospital?" Ellie
"If you wish, you can... But not full-time... And not as a nurse, it will be tiring for you. Is it okay?" I said
