'uh Chief Bailey I've got to talk to you',
I essentially yelled out through the halls as I was ready to come back to work after my organ transplant, she turned around and looked at me confused,
'uh y/n did Alex not tell you that I'm not Chief for the moment?',
Bailey said, I looked at her confused,
'he did not',
I said in response not wanting her to know that I haven't talked to Alex in a few months,
'uh y/n are you and Alex still together?',
Bailey asked me, I shook my head slightly,
'I stopped talking to everyone when I took my leave of absence; I didn't want anyone to know what was happening',
I said to her, she looked at me confused before she smiled at me slightly,
'you will have to go tell the interim Chief you're back',
Bailey said to me, I nodded my head before going to walk away but I turned back to face her,
'and who might that be?',
I asked her, she laughed slightly,
'Alex Karev'.
