I said awkwardly as Jackson and I were left alone in the research lab; he looked at me concerned and I looked at him confused,
'what's that look for Avery?',
I asked him, he let out a slightly loud breath before making a small step towards me,
'y/n it looks like you haven't slept in a week',
Jackson said to me, I looked at him shocked wondering why and if he was actually commenting on my life, I laughed slightly,
'because I haven't',
I said with a somewhat smug on my face. He moved closer to me,
'what's that look on your face for?',
Jackson asked me, I scoffed ever so slightly,
'because it's your fault Mr Avery; every time I wake up I reach for you but you're not there anymore so it is just easier for me to simply not sleep',
I said in response, he shook his head at me; hurt by my statement. Jackson moved towards me, I looked at him confused as he wrapped his arms around me; I didn't know whether to fight it or just let it happen. My head began to rest on his chest, my eyes slowly closing
