'and what do we want for dinner tonight Charlie?',
I asked my two year old son sitting him on top of the kitchen island, he began to smile at me,
'waffles',
He said his smile growing larger, I smiled at him and laughed slightly,
'waffles for dinner?',
I questioned, he nodded his head at me,
'yes cause it's lalebtines day',
Charlie said completely butchering the pronunciation of the word valentines, I smiled at him,
'I suppose that's okay then',
I said going to the cupboard to get the ingredients that we needed. I heard a knock on the door,
'who could that be baby?',
I asked him, he looked at me somewhat shocked shrugging his shoulders. I smiled at him before quickly picking him up and walking over to the door with him in my arms,
'WHO IS IT?',
I yelled at the door just trying to acknowledge whoever it was, the person didn't answer. I became slightly annoyed and Charlie laughed at me slightly, I shook my head at him with a small smile on my face. I slowly opened the door and realised who it was,
'Jackson?',
I somewhat asked being slightly confused. He smiled up at me before holding up two grocery bags,
'I am here to cook you and Charlie dinner and dessert; because I love you and I love Charlie'.
