"Alice, wake up." This was Josh, coming in to wake her up after she slept for five hours.

"What?" She groaned and opened her eyes. Suddenly, her headache was gone.

"It's time to get up." Josh continued to shake her, like she wasn't waking up.

"Alright, alright. I'm up." Alice groaned again.

"Simon's taking you to dinner since we already ate and I have a few things I need to take care of." Josh literally pulled her out of bed.

"I'll get dressed, tell Simon I'll be ready in about ten." Alice rubbed her eyes.

"Okay." Josh smiled at her before he left the room.

Alice walked over to her closet and pulled open one of the drawers. She found a new tee shirt inside. It was a Sidemen shirt. Pink. Josh must have left it for her. She slipped it on and put some black legging on. She combed out her hair blonde hair and threw it up into a high pony tail.

Dinner with Simon. She kept thinking as if it were such a big deal. She knew most of his fans would die to be in the spot she's in now. It was almost like she had power over the fans, like she was a higher rank than them.

"Alice!" Simon called from down the hallway, "Alice come on!"

"I'm coming! Calm down!" Alice responded, laughing at him. She walked over to the door and opened it, stepping out into the hallway.

"Woah." Simon smiled as he saw her. They were both wearing the pink Sidemen shirt and some form of black pants. Almost like a matching couple.

"What?" Alice furrowed her eyebrows.

"Nothing.You just look like one of us whilst sporting that Sidemen tee." He winked at her, laughing afterward as to not make it awkward for himself.

"Thank you." Alice giggled. Simon really knew how to flatter someone.

"Come on then," Simon jogged down the steps. Alice followed.

"Where are we going?" She asked, casually slipping her feet into her white flats as they passed the door.

"I was thinking we could go to Domino's or something." Simon answered, opening the car door for her.

"Sounds good." Luckily, she loved Domino's.

Simon came around the back of the car, jumping into the drivers side. He stuck the keys into the ignition and began to pull away from the Sidemen household.

"So...." Alice tried to continue the conversation.

"Sooooo." Simon mocked her, laughing.

"Don't mock me." She crossed her arms. Alice could tell the conversation was becoming awkward, so she decided to make a move. "Simon,"

"Alice." He glanced over at her.

"Simon?"

"Alice... I've been meaning to tell you that you look beautiful." Simon blushed.

"Oh, you look very handsome too," Alice mirrored Simon, and she blushed as well.

"I hope I didn't just make things awkward..." Simon laughed.

"No, you didn't." She comforted him.

"Good, I really want us to be friends." Little did Simon know that he just crushed what Alice had left of a heart.

"Oh, yeah of course."Alice had to look away, she almost started crying, screaming, anything to get rid of the pain.

This shouldn't hurt so much... Alice thought, shifting awkwardly in her seat.

"Are you okay?" Simon glanced over at her.

"Yeah- fine." Her voice cracked, Simon knew she was going to cry.

"What's wrong? Alice-"

"I'm seriously fine!" Alice interrupted, looking up at him with glassy eyes and a frown.

"Your not fine." Simon wasn't a stupid boy. He wasn't going to let her cry.

"Seriously." Alice let another tear slip, quickly concealing it behind her hand.

"I'm pulling over." Simon pulled off the main road into a parking lot.

"Why? I said I was fine."

"Your. Not. Fine." He pulled the keys out of the ignition.

"Simon."

"Alice, what's wrong." Simon reached over for her hand and took it in his own. His hands were bigger than hers, seemingly because he was a boy and he was taller.

"I-I just- I don't wanna talk about it. Look, just take me back to the house. I'm not hungry anymore." Alice took a deep breath.

"Are you sure? I was looking forward to this." Simon said, clearly joking.

"In not in the mood for jokes." Alice sighed.

"Fine, I'll take you home. But it's not my fault you didn't eat. Make sure to tell Josh that before he flips on me." Simon rolled his eyes at her, but she didn't see. She was too busy texting on her phone.

Joshua;
Alice? What do you mean he broke your heart?

Alice;
He just did.

Joshua;
You don't like him, do you?

Alice;
I do.

Joshua;
Alice...

Alice shut off her phone. She didn't feel like talking to anyone else for the rest of the night. She'd been crushed enough, and she knew Josh would just make it worse.

"-and I know you must not care very much about him, because you were never around." Simon finished. Alice had missed that whole thing.

"What?" She asked, processing the information he had just said. Was he talking about Josh?

"Josh told us you wouldn't ever come around to see him, so I guessed that you didn't care much about him?" Simon questioned.

"I love Josh, I always will. he's my brother, and if you believe for once second that I left him, your wrong, because he left me." Alice informed him.

"Oh-Alice I didn't know he just-"

"Just take me home," She shook her head, his assumption made her laugh, "now."

Simon drove back to the house, not saying another word to Alice. He was a smart boy, he knew not to annoy a girl even more when they were already mad as hell.

"Thank you." Alice said, hopping out of Simons car.

"No problem." Simon threw his keys in the air, catching them as they fell down.

"Show off." Alice scoffed under her breath.

"Bitch." He laughed.

"S'cuse me?" Alice whipped around.

"I was kidding." Simon spoke, using a condescending tone.

"Good, because I was about to punch you." She spun on her heels and ran up the front steps.

"I'd like to see you try, young Zerker." Simon whispered, still audible for her to understand. "I'd like to see you try..."
