Alice was currently sitting next to Vik in the hospital. Josh was trying his best to show him all of his past videos.

"That's me?" Vik asked, pointing at himself and then the screen.

"Yep." Josh responded, pausing the video once all seven of the sidemen were in the shot, "And those guys are Tobi, me, Simon, Ethan, Harry, and JJ. We are your friends."

"The... Sidemen?" Vik scratched his head.

"Yes!"

"But... Whose she?" Vik pointed at Alice.

"That's... That's Alice." Josh sighed, "My sister."

Josh had decided that they shouldn't tell him he's engaged to her until he remembered at least something about her. So far they hadn't made much progress...

"Alice... I-I can't place her."

'Great.' Alice sighed, 'He doesn't even know who I am.'

"It's okay, Vik." Alice placed her hand on his arm, hiding the tear that had slipped down her face.

"That ring... Did-did I give that to you?" His eyes lit up, showing some sign of remembrance. It was gone the next time he blinked.

"Uh..." Alice glanced at Josh. He shook his head.

"Did I?" Vik followed her gaze.

"No, you didn't." Josh quickly responded.

"Then who did? Your boyfriend?" Vik gestured to Alice, locking eyes with her again.

"Let's not talk about this now." Simon interrupted, putting a hand on Alice's shoulder. Alice nodded.

"Why are you hiding things from me?" Vik furrowed his eyebrows, anger taking over his eyes.

"It's best we don't give you too much to process just yet." Josh sighed. Sitting back in his chair.

"I hate this! I hate this so much!" Vik threw his head back in frustration.

"Calm down, it's okay." Alice cooed, she couldn't watch him struggle like this.

"No, Alice! No ones telling me the truth anymore! I'm so tired of all of this."

"Babe-" Alice stopped mid-sentence. Josh and Simon widened their eyes at her.

"Babe? Did you just call me babe?" Vik's eyes lit up again, like he'd just figured it all out.

"No! No, she didn't." Josh interrupted as Alice looked away.

"She did! I heard her!"

"Josh, Simon? Can one of you drive me to the house? I can't watch you guys do this to him anymore." Alice looked at Simon.

"Sure, Alice. Let's go." Simon glared at Josh.

"Guys listen, I'm only trying to help him!" Josh looked upset.

"You aren't helping him by confusing him, Joshua." Alice rolled her eyes as she stood up.

"Exactly." Simon grabbed Alice's hand, interlocking their hands. "Let's go."

Simon led Alice out of the door, and into the elevator. Alice broke down.

"I just don't know what to do." Alice cried, sliding down the back wall of the elevator

"Seriously, I can't either." Simon sighed as he leaned his head against the wall.

"Josh is going to ruin him." Alice shook, sobbing.

"By the looks of it, he's already ruined you." Simon crouched down next to her.

"Sorry... It just hurts, ya know?" Alice wiped her cheeks.

"I know, I know. I understand." Simon placed his hand on her back, slowly moving it so his arm was around her shoulders. He pulled her into his chest.

"It sucks to know that I caused this. If I didn't step up on that railing and try to kill myself, he wouldn't have had his heart attack."

"Alice, none of this is your fault. You can't blame yourself for something that wasn't under your control. You didn't even know!"

"But what if I could have stopped it? I should never have stepped down off that railing. I should have ended it all when I had the chance."

"Alice! Stop! You seriously can't blame yourself like this! What's done is done and we can't change the past. Who knows, maybe by some miracle Vik will remember, everything will be okay... Trust me." Simon kissed her head.

"Let's get out of here." Alice noticed the doors had opened, so she stood up. Both of them walked out of the elevator, hand in hand.

Simon sped home, weaving in and out of traffic. He didn't really want to give Alice anymore time to stare out the window and think. He didn't want her to end up dead tonight.

"You're sleeping with me tonight." Simon turned into the drive of the house.

"Fine." Alice pushed the car door open, hopping out as fast as she could. She would have protested and said she didn't need him to baby her, but she was to tired to fight. Plus, she needed the company.

Alice knocked on the door, waiting for JJ or Tobi to answer. Josh had left them in charge of the house when this all happened.

"Who is it?" Alice heard Tobi call.

"Alice and Simon!" She responded, taking a step back as Tobi unlocked the door. He opened it.

"How's Vik?" He asked as soon as she stepped over the threshold.

"He's okay." She plainly responded, jumping up the steps. She ran all the way to Simons room and climbed in his bed without saying anything or doing anything else.

"Alice?" Simon followed her.

"What?" She blinked rapidly as to get rid of the tears that had formed.

"Here." He placed her phone in front of her.

"Thanks." She picked it up, opening it and checking her notifications.

"Don't take anything to hard."

"What do you mean?"

"Josh told them about your little... attempt."

"Really? Is nothing private with him?"

Josh had tweeted from her account.

Alice Zerker @alice_zerkaa:
Alice tried to end herself last night, causing @vikkstar123 to have a minor heart attack. They are both okay and doing well. -Josh

"For fucks sake, Josh." Alice sighed. She felt like crying, but there were no more tears for her to cry. She was burnt out.

Alice Zerker @alice_zerkaa:
Guys, I'm okay. Vik isn't. Josh lied. Vik cannot remember anything of the past year.

Alice Zerker @alice_zerkaa:
A huge thanks to you guys and @miniminter7 for helping me out. I'm going to sleep. See you all tomorrow.

Alice shut off her phone and placed it on the nightstand. "Simon?" She whispered.

"What?" He whispered back. He'd made his way into the bed.

"Help me through this?"

"Anything for my Alice."
