Chapter 27// Beach Day

"Alright, I believe we have everything. Let's go!" Mitch cheered, pulling Jess out the door.

Lachlan, Preston, Rob, and Jerome followed quickly behind, leaving Vik and Alice to walk out of the house last.

"Everyone's been so nice to me so far." Alice whispered to Vik.

"I know, aren't these guys great?"

"I miss home, though. I mean, everyone's nice here, but it's not the same atmosphere as the Sidemen house. At least there I can swear freely. Everyone's so censored here." Alice giggled, gesturing to the group ahead of them.

"Well, they have to be. Most of the audiences we have are younger children, and we don't want to be bad influences towards them!" He explained, laughing.

"Yeah, but then you go to your gaming channel, and your different! How do you make that switch so fast?" She asked, looking over at him.

"I don't know, it's just natural to me. It wasn't something I had to train myself to do." He shrugged.

"It's pretty cool, to be honest." Alice smiled.

"Thanks. I try." He laughed, jumping into the back of the car. Alice followed.

"Hey guys, we are headed to the beach today! And look who joined us? Alice and Vik!" Preston vlogged.

"Heeey!" Alice giggled, waving at the camera.

"I just met Alice, and she's so cool! Go follow her on Twitter and Twitch at alice_zerkaa! Her brothers pretty chill too!" Preston giggled as he turned the camera back on himself.

"Oh yay, my brothers chill!" She elbowed Vik, "Did you hear that? My brothers chill!"

Vik just laughed and shook his head, pulling out his phone. He scrolled through some tweets before making a tweet of his own. Alice's phone buzzed when he sent it.

"You turned notifications on for me?" He asked, smiling.

"Of course! Your my boyfriend, and it's only fair I know what your doing at every point of every single day!" She giggled, looking down at her phone.

"I was just kidding, I don't want to fight!" Alice cried, laughing.

"To late, now I need to 1v1 you."

"Awe Vikram! Don't hurt your girlfriend!" Preston joined in.

"Nu plz, Alice is to nice to get hurt!" Lachlan said.

"I won't hurt my girlfriend, I will love my girlfriend!" Vik leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.

"There we go, that's better. We don't want any broken girlfriends today!" Preston smiled.

"That would be very bad... I'm pretty sure Joshua would kill you." Alice looked over at Vik.

"I know. That's why your not gonna ever get broken ever again!"

"Ever again?" Lachlan asked.

"It's a long story that frankly, I don't have the time to tell." Vik sighed.

No body really asked anymore questions about that night when that girl kissed Vik. Alice still remembered, though. She didn't think she would ever forget.

"Alright guys, time to get out of the car!" Mitch spoke for the first time since they'd left his house.

"Beach! Beach! Beach!" Jerome started chanting, Rob joining in slightly after.

"Yeah! Beaaaach!" Preston ended, hopping out of the car first. Lachlan followed, then Jerome and Rob. Once again, Alice and Vik took up the rear.

"That's a nice booty you have." Vik giggled as they both jumped out of the back.

"Why you lookin' at my booty?" Alice sternly looked at him.

"Because your booty is mine!" Vik cheered, hugging her.

"Nah, this booty is mine." Alice protested, trying to get him off of her.

"Yes but I'm your boyfriend, so there for your body is 50% mine."

"Nope! My body is 100% mine and you shouldn't try to claim me." Alice laughed with the boys who were laughing at Vik.

"Get shut down Vik." Lachlan came over and patted his head. "Girlfriend one, you, zero."

"Dang it." Vik snapped as he walked away from Alice.

"Sorry Vikram, I still love you!" Alice reached for his hand and pulled him back over to her.

"I still love you too!" Vik smiled.

"Do you know what the best part of today is?" She asked, realizing all the boys had gone into their own conversations.

"What?" Vik whispered back.

"Me getting to see you shirtless." She smirked, smiling.

"Oh damn." He giggled. "The best part of today for me is getting to see you half naked..."

"Oi, none of this!" Lachlan must have heard him.

"Sorry Lachlan. It won't happen again." Alice defended.

"Okay. Good. I don't want to hear lovey dovey things all day. We already have to deal with Mitch and Jessica."

"Hey! We don't even do anything bad!" Mitch protested.

"Sure." Lachlan responded, shaking his head at Mitch. "Sure you don't."

"Oh god. How am I gonna live with these boys for the next six days..." Alice giggled. She was being sarcastic, she loved the group!

"Alright, come on guys! Let's stop messing around and go to the beach!" Jess smiled as she pulled Mitch over to the steps that lead onto the beach.

"Do they ever let go of each other?" Alice asked the rest of the boys.

"Nope. They forever hold onto each other." Preston sighed.

"I'm glad we aren't like that." Alice added before taking Vik's hand and starting to follow the rest of the group.

"Well, you understand that I'm busy sometimes, and that I can't always be around you. Most of the guys and I think that Jess doesn't understand that. But love is love, and if Mitch is happy with her, then the group is happy."

"Is the group happy your with me?" Alice asked self-consciously.

"The group is thrilled that your with me. Why wouldn't they be? Your everything I've ever wanted in a girlfriend and more! Don't doubt yourself. Everyone loves you here." Vik squeezed her hand.

"I hope your not lying." Alice bit her lip.

"Of course I'm not! Why would I lie to you, ever?"

Alice didn't answer that, she knew if she did, that the answer wouldn't make sense.

Why would Vik lie? There was no need for him to lie to her. She could trust him, and he could trust her.
