Alice looked at herself in the mirror. Jess had loaned her a skin-tight black dress for her 'formal' date with Vik. She felt so insecure, even though her body was perfect, and Jess had told her that beforehand. She was afraid that Vik wasn't going to like her.

"Alice, you look stunning." Jess appeared behind her, placing her hands on Alice's shoulders.

"Do I? I don't think I do."

"Come on then, we have to do your hair and makeup. You look lovely." Jess steered her away from the mirror. She sat her down in a chair by the window.

"Look at him." Alice spotted Vik outside the window, messing around with the boys.

"What about him?" Jess asked, looking out the window as she unraveled the chord to her curling wand.

"He's so... Calm, and I'm a mess in here." Alice giggled.

"Oh please, I know he's as nervous as you are!" Jess began to separate Alice's hair into sections so she could curl it easier.

"I-I wish I was better for him..." Alice openly admitted to her.

"What do you mean? He loves you."

"I know, it's just... I'm so naive. I've ruined good things before."

"Alice there is no way you can screw this up! He's never going to leave you." Jess began to curl Alice's hair.

"Trust me. I've done it before, I'll probably do it again." Alice giggled, looking away from the window.

"Don't think like that." Jess said before picking up another section.

Alice couldn't help it, she'd made her dad leave, so what's to make her think she won't do it again.

She loved Vik, she really did. But she knew somewhere, somehow, she would fuck something up. No matter what the circumstances. Alice was a walking mistake, and no one could ever change her mind about that.

Jess finished up Alice's hair within half an hour, and then started on her makeup. She told Jess not to make her look like she had so much makeup on that nothing about her was real. She wanted to look natural. Vik liked when she didn't wear any makeup, as he's gone over on previous day's, dates, and conventions.

"Alice. You look stunning." Jess took one last look over before she let Alice see herself in the mirror.

Alice couldn't lie, she liked what she saw. What Jess had done made her look beautiful, flawless. She was so happy.

"Jessica, thank you." Alice spun around, hugging her.

"Awe, you are most certainly welcome. It was an honor to make you look presentable." She giggled.

"What? I didn't look presentable before?" Alice joked.

"I'm just kidding! Wait, I'm going to go see if your lovely fiancé is ready!" Jess smiled and ran over to the door. She opened it, and disappeared.

Alice took a deep breath before taking a second look at herself. She truly was stunning. But would Vik like the way she looked? It was a question she couldn't stop asking herself. She'd have to keep telling herself he loved her. He would always love her.

"Alright. Come on Alice. I think you'll like what you see." Jess wiggled her eyebrows.

"I always like what I see." Alice giggled as Jess took her hand. She lead her in the hallway.

"Close your eyes, Vik!" Jess called right before they exited the hallway.

"Okay, his eyes are closed!" Rob called back as they crossed into the main room.

Vik was wearing his usual suit. Alice hadn't known he had brought it with him.

"Wow, Alice..." Preston gawked at her.

"Beautiful..." Lachlan whispered.

"Your in for a wonderful treat, Vik." Jerome nudged the boy. Vik giggled.

"Can I open my eyes now?" He asked, smiling.

"Of course." Alice answered.

The boys all left the room, Jess included. They all joined back up in the kitchen.

"Oh my god..." Vik stared at her like every girl wanted to be stared at.

"Do you like it?" Alice spun around, showing off her whole outfit.

"I love it. I love every bit of it. I love every bit of you." Vik said before rushing over to hug her. "You are absolutely stunning, love."

"Thanks..." Alice blushed.

"I'm so glad I found a girl like you to be my fiancé."

"I hope you don't regret that in the future." She laughed.

"I don't think I ever will." Vik kissed her cheek.

"Hmm, okay." Alice smiled.

"Right, so I couldn't get us reservations anywhere, so Jess and Mitch set up this 'romantic evening for us'. I don't know, just go with it." He smiled and took her hand. They began to walk over to the kitchen.

"Alright, let's get this party started." Jess smiled as she lead them out to the backyard.

"Thank you Jess!" Alice whispered.

"Don't thank me yet, we haven't even gotten to the best part." Jess continued to smile as she sat them both down at a small table in the back.

The table was only lit by a candle, and Alice could barely see Vik.

"This is wonderful." Vik sighed, shrugging.

"Hey, at least we planned this whole thing for you!" Jess slapped his shoulder as he laughed.

"I was only kidding, Jessbot." Alice had heard Vik and the others call her Jessbot before. It was a cute nickname.

"How come I don't have a nickname yet?" Alice asked, slightly jealous.

"Aliemi." Vik smiled.

"Aliemi?" Alice giggled.

"It's a mix of Alice and Emily. Since those are part of your full name. Plus, it seems to slip off the tongue more easily."

"I like it. Might just make it my YouTube username!" Alice joked, smiling.

"You'd have to give me credit for it then." Vik smiled.

"Of course, you'll get all the credit you deserve." Alice smiled back at him.

"Even if you didn't I'd still love you."

"Alright cool, anyways." Jess interrupted. Alice had forgotten she was there.

"Sorry Jess." She giggled.

"It's okay. I still love you!"

Jess continued to ramble about the night ahead. Basically, the night was full of Vik and Alice alone time.
