Chapter 41// Time Flies

Alice woke up to bright lights. She saw the Sidemen standing over her.

"Morning, Alice." Ethan spoke, squeezing her hand.

"Morning?" She questioned, shielding her eyes from the sun.

"You've been out for a while." Tobi spoke.

"Yeah, long enough for me to wake up." Vik laughed, smiling.

"You're awake!" Alice pointed at him. She noticed the stitches on her wrist.  She pulled her hand back, examining the stitches.

"Don't mess with those. We don't want you to get a serious infection. That would be bad."

"Where am I?" Alice asked, looking around. She wasn't in the hospital.

"You're in my room." Vik looked around with her. "You didn't recognize?"

"Sorry, I just thought I'd be in the hospital?"

"You were. We took you home two weeks ago." Simon explained.

"Oh?"

"It's been three or four months, Alice."

"I thought it'd been longer." Alice laughed. "I'm glad to be alive still."

"We're glad your alive too." Vik smiled.

"Anyway," Josh sighed at Vik as he looked over to Alice, "we need to talk about something's."

"Okay..?"

"Guys, could you leave?" Josh asked.

"Yeah, if course."

"Alright, thanks."

The boys filed out of the room, quickly waving to Alice before hand. Josh sat down at the edge of the bed as they left.

As soon as the door closed, he began to talk.

"Alice, it's about your living here..."

"Listen, Josh-"

"No, Alice. Seriously... It's about time you leave this house. Go home, for real. I'm not kidding this time. Tired of you getting hurt here." Josh gave bus while speech again, whining about this and that. Alice was tired of it, and it wasn't the last time she'd hear it.

"Sorry, Joshy. I'm not going anywhere." Alice sighed, standing up off the bed.

"C'mon, Alice! I don't want you getting h-"

"Hurt? Huh? Yeah, I'd rather be hurt by your friends than left behind by you." She stormed off, going to find Vik.

"Hey Alice." Vik appeared moments later at the bottom of the steps.

"Hi, Vik." She jumped on him, wrapping her legs around his waist.

"What's up?" He asked as he placed his forehead against hers.

"Nothing much." She hadn't wanted to tell him about the conversation she just had with Joshua. It would just make her even more angry.

"It's been a while." He sighed, kissing her.

"Has it? I haven't noticed." She giggled, placing her hands on his cheeks.

"I missed you."

"I missed you too, Vik."

"How about we go and get something to eat?" He suggested, placing her back in the floor.

"Alright, but I'm not really hungry..." Alice watched as Vik took his keys off the table.

"Neither am I, we can just o for a drive then. I've been cleared to drive for a week, and I still haven't driven my baby." Vik giggled. He opened the front door and gestured Alice to go before him.

"Can't believe you haven't driven her!" Alice fake gasped, giggling.

"Well, I was to busy watching over you."

"But-but that's no reason to not drive bae!"

"Shut up and get in the damn car." Vik giggled. He snapped a quick picture of Alice. She got the twitter notification soon after.

Alice went to log into Twitter, but she couldn't even get in. She thought that was strange. She shrugged it off and placed her phone between her thighs.

"Where are we going?"

"Do you want to drive up to the Peak District?" Alice knew Vik loved it there-he'd always talked about it.

"Sure, it doesn't matter to me. Just as long as I get the aux cord." She smiled, grasping the cord in her hand. She plugged her phone in.

Alice began to play Ain't Nobody by Felix Jaehn. She figured this song was so accurate to her and Vik.

"AIN'T NOBODY, LOVES ME BETTER THAN YOOOU!" Alice sang as Vik laughed.

An hour later they were in the Peak District. They both got out of the car and found a nice place in the grass to sit down.

"Alice-I've been thinking."

"What about?" She asked, holding tightly onto his hand.

"What if, when we get married, we had kids?"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah... Do you think that would be a good time for me to quit YouTube?" He asked, furrowing his eye brows.

"No, I think you should be a youtuber for however long you'd like. It shouldn't matter if we have kids or not. I'm sure they wouldn't mind." She smiled.

"I just feel like, if I kept it up when their born, that I wouldn't ever be around to watch them grow."

"Well, that's when you stop uploading three times a day." Alice giggled.

"True, I guess."

"Besides, we don't have to worry about that for a long time."

"I guess."

"What else is on your mind, babe?"

Vik had seemed troubled to her, he wasn't himself.

"Uh, it's nothing you need to worry about. Just some bad press." Vik sighed.

"Awe, babe." She kissed his cheek, sighing, "What did they say about you this time?"

"It was about you, actually..." He reluctantly said.

"What'd they say about me?"

"They said you were a whore, a-and that you've probably slept with every single member of the sidemen."

Alice looked into Vik's eyes, "Why do they think that? I've only ever slept with you?"

"I know that, and so do the guys, so that's why we've all been a little confused. That's also why Josh asked you to leave the house earlier..."

"You knew about that?"

"Yeah, he'd been telling us all about it since we brought you home-tell us all about how and what he was going to say. None of us agreed, though."

"I can't believe he would plan something like that."

"Come on, Alice. Don't be so hard on him... He's been through a lot with you lately."

"I know." She sighed, pulling her knees up to her chest, "I just wish he wouldn't care so much..."
