Chapter 38

Our moment went well. On the next day, I get back to my daily routine. Jaxxon and I woke up early and fix ourselves to be ready for the shooting. Katulad ng nakasanayan ay sa van na ako bumihis ng damit ko para sa shooting. That's what we did daily for the whole week. My schedule is hectic, same as Jaxxon, and we don't even have much time to talk to each other since we are both preoccupied with our work. Sunod-sunod kasi ang scene na ginagawa ko kaya abala talaga ako.

"Ugh," I groaned as I sat inside our respective tent. "Gosh, sobrang nakakapagod talaga nitong nakaraan!" I stated the obvious.

"Oo nga po, miss, pansin ko rin po," si Eliz. "Ang dami n'yo pong scene, 'tapos ang iba ay retake pa, miss."

"That's my biggest problem actually and.." I stopped in mid-sentence when Jaxxon suddenly sat beside me. I cleared my throat and continue. "I am really struggling to be a good actress," I said. "Marami kasing comment sa akin iyong ibang artista, na.. hindi raw ako magaling."

Kumunot ang noo ni Jaxx. "You're the best, Zani, just ignore them."

"Oo nga, miss!" segunda naman ni Eliz. "Baka sinasabi lang nila iyan para hatakin ka pababa! Beginner ka naman, miss, kaya normal naman pong magkamali minsan."

I smiled and thanked her for that. That gave me hope and boosted my confidence somehow. It was so good to hear that someone was appreciating me and my acting skills. I always thought before about having a normal life. Wishing to have a normal life like others, like a life with no pressures from the society. But.. maybe this is where I belong, this is where I can be found, this where I can found who I really am. It wasn't too late for me though to realize that I have skills in acting, I am good at it somehow.

After the shooting, umuwi na kami ni Jaxx, kasama sina Eliz at Frith. Sila ang naghatid sa amin sa bahay nina Jaxx at gabing-gabi na kami nang makauwi. After the day I had an argument with Cynthxia, hindi na siya nagpakita sa akin. Hindi nga lang ako sigurado kung pumupunta pa siya rito dahil hindi ko naman siya nadadatnan at hindi rin ako nagtatanong sa kila lolo at lola.

"Ang boring naman ng relasyong ito, Jaxx!" I said when we were left alone in the dinning table.

Bahagya siyang natigilan. He looks disbelief as he drifted his eyes on me. Bigla rin siyang namutla na akala mo'y may nasabi nga akong masama. Bumuntonghininga ako at binaling ang tingin sa may plato kong wala nang lamang pagkain.

"W-What?" he stuttered when he asked that. "W-What do you mean by that?" he added a question.

"Napaka-boring nitong relasyon natin!" I repeated and faced him again. "Walang thrill, walang gulo, at walang problema! Sobrang healthy! Mag-away nga tayo!"

He stopped and stared at me. He let out a little laugh and shook his head disbelievingly. Ngumuso ako dahil sa dimples niyang exposed na exposed. Kitang-kita talaga iyon, kahit nga magsalita lamang siya ay lumalabas na iyon, paano pa kaya kapag ngumiti siya o tumawa? He's so cute and adorable. I wanna kiss this guy again and again until I get tired.

"What? You wanna pick a fight with me?" he asked laughingly.

Lumabi ako. "Oo! Sobrang healthy ng relasyon natin kaya mag-away naman tayo, oh!"

He grinned. "Why you wanna fight with me, bombshell? We don't have to fight, alright? Our relationship may be boring but that doesn't mean we need to fight. Come on, I love you.."

I was about to say it back when I suddenly heard a meow from somewhere. Napangiti ako at bumaling pareho ang atensyon namin ni Jaxx kay Rain na nasa upuan, nakatingala sa amin at mukhang may hinihingi. I stood up and bent over to level him. Hinaplos ko ang balahibo niya at kaagad niya ring hinilig ang ulo niya sa palad ko.
