** Two weeks later **
** Marley's POV **

A lot has happened these past two weeks. I'm getting a little baby bump already! My mother keeps telling me that I'm a little bigger than I should be, hopefully everything is okay. Ian and I are looking at potential places to stay. Jessica, My mother and I have been so busy planning the baby shower. My doctor's appointment is today as well.

"You ready?" My mother called out from outside our room.

I immediately applied the last little bit of eye shadow to my eyes before dashing for the door. Everyone was already downstairs and waiting on me. How nice, people wait on you when you're pregnant. My mother and I scurried downstairs and quickly hopped into our vehicles before leaving. My appointment was in ten minutes.

"We're never on time." Ian fussed as he sped through the streets.

"It's a girl thing." I joked.

Ian simply nodded his head and continued driving. After arriving in the parking lot everyone got out and gathered their things. Personally, I didn't see the point in everyone coming but their support is always welcomed.

As soon as Ian and I walked through the door with the family closebehind us, Dr. Sam called my name.

"Right on time." Ian joked around.

"Most definitely! Do you mind introducing me to your family?" Dr. Sam asked.

Ian and I went through the motions of pointing everyone out and stating their names. Everyone was cordial enough to greet him and smile.

"Since everyone is here today, we can go into the family-sized consultation room." Dr. Sam instructed as he walked into the back of the office. All of us followed closely behind him.

"Today is a very exciting day Marley and Ian. This should be exciting for you all as well." He began saying while motioning for everyone to take a seat.

"Okay, well we reviewed the ultrasound pictures and ....." Dr. Sam began saying.

"And what!?" I asked loudly. I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat.

"You're having multiples!" He squealed while plastering a huge smile across his face.

Jessica clutched her chest as her eyes grew wide. My mother quickly clenched Clyde's hands as tears began streaming down her face.

"Excuse these dramatic two." Ian's father, Craig said while cutting his eyes at them.

"What exactly do you mean by multiples?" Craig added.

"By multiples, we mean that Ian and Marley are expecting twins. We don't know the gender just yet. After our next visit or two, you all will be informed." Dr. Sam explained.

"We don't want to know." I butted in.

Ian cut his eyes at me and furrowed his eyebrows.

"Why not?" Ian asked.

"Because I just don't want to know!" I replied through gritted teeth.

"But I do Marley." Ian said in a calm, monotone voice.

"How about we keep it a secret until the baby shower? It'll be a surprise for the both of you." Clyde suggested.

"That actually is a good idea. Both of you kinda get what you want, just not as soon as you would like." Dr. Sam added.

"Fine." I agreed while crossing my arms.

"Anyway, that's why you're growing bigger than any other pregnant woman. You're making room for two babies, not just one. Also that means that you will be seeing a lot of me. Having multiples increases the risk for pregnancy complications but we won't dwell on that. You all are going to be just fine." Dr. Sam explained.
