Chapter-19

Author's POV

A week passed by like a breeze. For her, it felt like minutes or even seconds and for him, days felt like years.

He was waiting to live with her, like normal couples. He didn't know why, but he wanted to.

There wasn't a minute that passed by without Chase thinking about her. He missed her very much. He was acting like a love-sick puppy. Denise was shocked to see this side of his friend.

Chase wasn't a lover boy. He has seen him hanging out with pretty girls many times. Not for once did he see Chase running behind a girl and demanding her to move in with him and most importantly claiming that he loves her!!!

Chase always appreciated his privacy. He liked to stay alone in his huge mansion. Denise was shell shocked because his dear friend suspects her to be a spy and yet he is asking her to move in with him.

At first, Denise thought that he just wanted to have sex with her. But seeing him losing shit over that girl made him think otherwise.

Chase obviously wanted to have sex with Rose. He liked her which included her body too. More than sex, he wanted her.

He wanted to be with her.

Love her.

Hurt her.

Worship her.

Dominate her.

Hold her in his arms.

Control her.

Ultimately, be her soulmate.

He wanted to marry her and have as many kids with her.

He even imagined her with a pregnant belly. That imagination itself gave him a hard-on.

He was waiting to devour her. He will. Sooner or later.

Every day he texted her, called her and visited her college. She would reply to his messages as he clearly warned her not to ignore him. He would send a lengthy message and she would reply it with an Okay or Hmm.

She wanted to ask him to fuck off, but she knew the consequences of crossing him. His warnings were clear as crystal. She didn't want anything to happen to her loved ones.

Somehow her indifferent behaviour wasn't settling well within him. He was expecting more and more from her. She wasn't giving in to this sick game which he called love.

She would reply to him twice or thrice a day. He would send messages again and again.
She simply ignored his message. She didn't want to text him all day like the couples in love. They weren't lovers and she chose not to act like one.

As for calls, he used to call her early in the morning and wished her good morning. Rose would roll her eyes every time he wished her good morning! He was forcing her to talk to him and wish her good morning. The audacity of this guy always brought creeps to her body. She couldn't understand him.

He used to ask how her day was, whether she had breakfast, lunch and dinner and informed her how his day was, Even if she didn't ask anything.

The way he spoke with her made her think twice about him. It was as if he was so gentle, caring and considerate. He even asked how her classes were going!
She strongly believed that he was bipolar. His behaviour was very confusing. He is this sweet gentleman one time and turns into this evil beast within a minute.

She even felt bad for not asking him anything. He gave her confusing signals. She didn't understand anything. But she knew him. She has seen it with her own eyes. He is mad, cruel and ruthless. He is anything but a gentleman.
