Author's POV

Milan, Italy.

Inside a lavish building, Matthew was waiting for someone, sitting on the Black leather couch, reviewing the file.

Pushing his spectacles back, he looked at his wristwatch, it was 12 in the noon already.

A smile appeared on his face seeing the watch. It was a rose gold wristwatch. Tracing his fingers on the Rose logo, he sighed.

It was gifted by his daughter Rose. He wears it all the time.

Another sigh escaped his lips remembering her. He wanted to talk with her. So, he clicked on her contact and pressed the call button.

Their picture appeared on the screen. Rose was hugging him, and Matthew was smiling, widely.

" Hello....!"  A chirpy deep voice reverberated from behind.

He ended the call immediately and looked behind.

Matthew didn't identify the person standing in front of him. He just knew that he was meeting with the CEO of Ania and Co.

The person in front of him was tall, fair and had dark black eyes. He was wearing a black blazer, black shirt and black pants. The first two buttons were open, giving a clear view of a roaring lion tattoo on his neck.

" I'm Leon Ortiz. Representative of Ania and Co," Leon said, extending his hands for a shake.

Matthew nodded passing him a professional smile.

" Hello Mr. Ortiz, I'm Matthew Menezes representative from Ness And Co...Nice to meet you" Matthew shook hands with Leon.

Both of them sat and proceeded with business talks.

Matthew stood up and passed the file to Leon. Leon took the file from Matthew's hand and extended his hand for a handshake. Their attention was distracted when suddenly Matthew's phone started vibrating.

Leon looked at the table, a photo was popping up on the screen. He couldn't see it properly as Matthew's phone was on the couch. Matthew took his phone and sent an automated message to his daughter.

" Mr. Menezes...you seem busy!" Leon said, playfully.

Matthew smiled, apologetically.

" It's my daughter....she is in the States! We usually talk at this time...." Matthew said, smiling.

Leon's ears alerted as he heard the word States.

" States...? That's why you look familiar to me...Are you from the Southern States?" Leon was curious. Matthew seemed familiar but he couldn't point out how or why!

Matthew shook his head.

" I'm from the Northern States...." Matthew said.

Leon made an 'o' pout and,

" That makes sense as to why I cannot remember this face....! Bloody Northern States!" he thought to himself.

" I'm from the Southern States...
Mr. Menezes..." Leon said, making an obvious face.

Matthew also nodded making an 'O' face.

" Are we enemies now? Your so-called Don hates us for no reason!" Leon said, making goofy faces.

Matthew shook his head.
