Chapter-92

Author's POV

Rose looked at the woman in front of her. She looked young although she had little grey hairs here and there.

The woman removed her glasses and placed them on the table, passing a warm smile as she looked at Rose.

" Hello...I'm Florence..I am your new psychiatrist.." she extended her hands to Rose.

Rose shook her hands and then shook her head.

She was tired. She didn't want to talk to anyone. She hoped this woman would leave without pestering her much.

Florence analysed her face and then smiled again.

" I understand you are in a bitter mood...talk to me.. let's see if there is something I can do to light up your mood," Florence said, politely.

Rose shook her head again.

She didn't want to talk. She just wanted to sleep her worries off. She hadn't eaten anything since yesterday night and hours-long crying had drained her energy.

No matter how much Layana pestered her to eat, Rose didn't give in. She was hurt and she chose not to eat the food given by him.

Rose was lost in a world of her own. Except for Layana, nobody bothered her. She simply didn't want to face him and to her luck, Donovan didn't show up again.

After Layana left, Florence came inside her room. Rose was annoyed. She just wanted to be alone. She knew he was the one who sent this woman and it irritated her.

" Why are you not talking Ms. Menezes?" Florence asked, looking at her carefully.
Rose was looking outside the window. Physically present, mentally somewhere else.

She turned towards Florence when she felt a tap on her shoulders. Rose sighed.

" What do you want to know?" Rose asked, knitting her brows.

The lady's smile did not waver. She looked at Rose with concern and,

" I just want to know what is bothering you?" Florence said, her voice gentle.

Rose couldn't help but scoff at her.

" Bothering me? Who sent you here?" Rose snapped, eyeing her with anger.

Florence understood that Rose was losing her patience.

" Mr. Donovan Frontin" She replied and Rose rolled her eyes.

" It's me. I am bothering myself. I am a fool and I let people play fucking games with me and I blame myself for that." Rose snapped at the woman.

" Why do you blame yourself if others choose to play?" Florence asked trying to get her to talk.

Rose sighed again.

" Who else do you want me to blame? The one who played with me?" Her voice came out sharp.

" I'm not telling you to blame anyone dear. You don't have to blame yourself for something that you cannot control" Florence spoke, gently.

Rose looked at her with teary eyes.

" What are you implying doctor?" Rose said, gritting her teeth.
