Chapter-69
Author's POV
The cotton-like clouds seemed to dance across the horizon, the air, a crisp, gentle breeze, causing the leaves to rustle.
As the bright Sun rose, the golden rays stretched far and wide, casting warmth.
The play of shadow and light in the huge mansion was a sight to watch. Her baby blue eyes, looked almost grey as warm rays fell on her.
She walked out of her room along with the young maid in her twenties, who led her the way, politely.
It's been more than a month since she was kidnapped by him. Never been treated like a prisoner even once. She never had the chance to tour the mansion.
She busied herself with the hopeless, romantic novels, dwelling upon the love and romance between the leads. It's her routine now. Wake up, eat, read, talk with him and sleep.
She was quite happy. She seemed to have forgotten the fact that she was kidnapped in the first place. Well! He wasn't treating her like a prisoner in the first place. All the blame on him!
Now that she had finished a beautiful novel about two childhood friends who ended up marrying, she wanted a little break. And so, she is exploring the mansion.
As she walked out of the room, a huge hallway welcomed them.
She looked at the golden railing and the design intrigued her. She knew he loved art and it only justified how beautifully his home was decorated.Standing in front of the stairs, she sighed, looking at the huge hall.
Everything was Gold, Beige, Cream and Ivory in color. All the furniture had the same colored cushions. She realised that her room was on the second floor and the mansion had four floors.
The young maid took her to the dining hall. She had seen it before.
The intricately carved chairs and the oversized dining table made her eyes widen in awe. A dazzling small chandelier cast a warm yellow hue on the furniture.
