Chapter-33

Author's POV

Rose ignored the creepy stares from her fellow students and walked quickly inside her class. Her classmates were also looking at her weirdly. She had enough of their stares.

She didn't understand why they were looking at her like that. She's not some alien or different creature! She wanted to vent out her dissatisfaction with someone but that someone wasn't in the class today.

She tried calling her many times, but her phone was out of reach. She was quite worried about Rain. Rain never took leave without informing her prior. Even if she couldn't call, she would at least leave a text to her informing her about her leave. On top of it, her phone was never out of reach. It was bothering her.

She thought about it for a while and then called Zayaan. His phone was out of reach too. That's when her anxiety skyrocketed.

She couldn't help but think negatively about the situation. All the negative scenarios ran in her mind. And the most prominent among them was Chase torturing her best friends.

She grabbed her bag and ran out of the class. She was running towards the gate like a mad woman in a marathon race. Everyone was watching her in some sort of amusement.

She noticed the Black Range Rover parked in front of the gate. His men were standing in front of the car already.

They must've thought she was trying to escape.

" I want to meet Chase!" She urged looking at the big bald guy.

" Where is Denise? Where is Chase? Take me there immediately!" she urged again.

The bald guy nodded after he received a curt Yes from his boss, via Bluetooth. He opened the door for Rose and he drove off towards the mansion.

Throughout the drive, Rose was fidgeting with her fingers. She was really anxious. She couldn't stop those negative thoughts from entering her mind. She was going crazy thinking about Rain and Zayaan being held hostage in his basement.

She didn't wait for the big bald guy to open the door for her. She literally ran inside the mansion screaming his name.

" Where is Chase...?" she asked Anila, who was watching her in pure shock.

Rose was going crazy.

" Chase!" she called, rushing towards the garden.

His men ran behind her.

She stopped running and pulled her phone out of her jeans pocket. She hadn't saved his number, yet. She opened the messages and there it was... She hadn't even opened his last text, which he sent yesterday after dropping her to the college.

'Missing you already..' he sent this text after reaching the company.

She called to that number and mumbled incoherent words to herself.

The line connected after two or three rings. He picked up the call,

" Hello.....Chase...?" she sounded desperate.

There was a brief silence from the other end of the call.

" you... you kidnap them. Didn't you?" she asked, biting her lips.

Chase smirked, his girl was good at guessing.

" Wh-----" he ended the call.

" Why is he doing this!!!!" she screamed at his men. She wanted to slap that man so hard for hurting her without any reason.
