Chapter-91
Author's POV
She checked her vitals and turned towards Donovan who was leaning against the door, his eyes fixed on the unconscious figure, lying on the bed.
" Don..she is fine now. It'll take her some time to wake up.." Lana said, looking at him with a worried face.
He inhaled sharply.
" I know that Doctor. I want to know why she got another attack?" He hissed, his eyes fixed on the unconscious figure lying on the bed.
Lana gulped hard.
" Don...since you mentioned she was shaking violently, I guess it might be one of the strongest triggers. I suggest you to get in touch with a psychiatrist. Otherwise...it will..." Lana stopped feeling his angry gaze on her.
Donovan clenched his jaws
" Say it damn it! Otherwise what?" He spat, fisting his palm.
Lana nodded.
" Her...condition might worsen... there is also a chance of her developing PTSD" Lana said, fear evident in her face.
He sucked in a sharp breath, controlling the urge to roar.
" I want the best psychiatrist in front of me before she wakes up" Donovan gritted his teeth.
" Okay, Don" Felix said, leaving the room.
It was only two of them in the room now. She was still unconscious while he was battling thoughts of his own.
A part of him knew he was the reason for her situation. It stung him in the right places.
He walked closer to the bed and sat beside her foot. He looked at her face.
Her eyelashes were wet. Tears stained her face. She looked pale. There was a big handprint on her right cheek and her neck. It looked disgusting on her flawless skin.
He clenched his jaws looking at her bruised skin. He looked at his right palm, the same hand which he used to slap her.
" I should be punished flower" He whispered, looking at his right palm.
He got up, slowly caressing the bruise on her cheek and then on her neck.
I am sorry flower...
" I am sorry..." he pressed his lips on her forehead, and his voice came out heavy.
He looked at her for a brief minute, and then walked towards the single couch and sat there, watching her.
He decided not to leave her until she woke up.
After a while, she stirred in the bed, turning towards her right, as soon as the soft pillow touched her bruised skin, an involuntary hiss escaped her lips.
His eyes squinted, he didn't even sleep all night. As soon as he heard her hissing, he silently left the room, knowing that she had woken up.

Rose's POV
I opened my eyes and stretched my body. I feel heavy and sore.
My hands involuntarily touched the spot on my cheek, where it stinged. Memories of last night rushed back like waves hitting the rock.
