I answer the phone and hear a shaky voice breathing quickly and loudly into the speaker. Disregarding what the hell she's breathing like that for I start screaming at her for making me loose. "SARA. ARE YOU KIDDING ME I WAS ON MY BEST RUN EVER AND YOU DECIDE TO CALL ME. WHAT DO Y-" "Leah! I have the best news ever. You're not going to believe this!" Sara yammers in my ear "Let's hear it then." I say with a sigh. "Wait, I don't know do you have work tonight?" Sara says a little calming recognizing the irritation in my voice. "I thought I told you, I got fired because some drunk little skank had the nerve to call me a whore when I was taking orders and I punched her in the face." I say quickly but slow enough for her to understand. "You did? That's my bestfriend for ya. Well, I'll be over in a few minutes we're going out to eat tonight!" Sara says her Tennessee accent shining through. "Alright, love ya bye" I say confused and nervous but excited. "You too bye" She says hanging up. I get up and head upstairs. I reach the top then take my phone out my back pocket I walk into my bedroom and hop on my bed. I begin to text Sara

Me: Nvm, just call me and tell me. I can't go, I spent the rest of my paycheck on bills and groceries.

Sara: Ur fn coming!! 😡 Get ur ass ready bitch.

Me: You text like you're retarded but okay.

I throw my phone on my bed next to me and sit up. I stride to my closet like a model and go through all my clothes trying to decide on an outfit. I finally come to the decision to wear a pair of ripped white skinny jeans and a red Sleeping With Sirens shirt I bought the other day. I get dressed and do my makeup. I walk over to my bed and check my messages

Sara: Dress nicely!! Goodnews!!😎😎💖😜

I laugh and slide my phone into my back pocket then take a last look in the mirror. I go downstairs and sit on the couch. I hear a knock at the door a few minutes later. I open it up and see Sara standing awkwardly ready to burst with happiness ad usual. "I figured you wouldn't take me seriously when I said dress nicely. Good" She says rolling her eyes. "What! I thought I looked pretty nice for a change." I say pouting. "You look wonderful" Sara says still smiling that scarily awkward smile. "Thanks bb." I say grabbing my hoodie off the hook. I put my arms in and zip it up. What a beautiful day in Atlanta, GA. I make sure my keys are in my pocket and walk outside. I lock the door and hop down the steps quickly. "My car or your car" Sara says looking back at me. "Wanna sleepover?" I say putting on chapstick. "Sure, so I guess we're taking yours then?" she responds. I nod and walk over to it. I press the 'unlock' symbol on my keys, pull the handle and climb in. Sara climbs in the passengers seat and puts her seat belt on. I roll my eyes at her clenching her purse because she thinks im a "reckless" driver when in all actuality she thinks 25 mph is fast. I put the key in the ignition and pull out my driveway. I look over to Sara as my car sits in my middle of the street. "What.... o-ohhhh. Go to Starbucks please." She says feeling embarrassed. I smile and drive off. A few minutes later we arrive to our destination.
