What's So Good About Picking Up The Pieces?

Chapter 26; **

Me and Nick are off, to go see some shows and catch up.

"Who do you want to see, I guess, um. Yeah.." Nick says awkwardly.

"Tonight Alive, Chiodos, Bring Me The Horizon, Woe Is Me, Man Overboard, SWS? We just really need to see SWS because I know how much you love Justin." I say before laughing a little.

"...okay." He says quietly. "What's wrong?" I say as I stop walking. "I don't want to talk about right now." he blurts.

I pout at him. "Okay, I love you Nickypoo." and I catch a glimpse of him smiling.

"Love you too Lee. Wait here." He walks over to the food/drink stands and purchases something.

"I bought us monsters." he smiles.

"Thank you, haha." I kiss his forehead and he simply smiles again and we go to our first 2 shows, Tonight Alive and then Chiodos.

On our way to go see BMTH I hear someone calling my name. I turn around and see Vic jogging over to us smiling. I stop walking and so does Nick. Vic catches up and hugs me.

"W-Where you guys going?" he asks Nick still trying to catch his breath.

"Going to see um Bring Me The uh Horizon."

"Do you mind if I come?" he asks, still talking to him.

He grins, "Not at all."

Vic smiles and pats him on the back before gently plopping his arm around me and placing his hand on my shoulder. I smile at him and I can see a twinkle in his eyes. I raise an eyebrow curiously, wondering whats on his mind and he shakes his head before gently placing a kiss on my forehead. It sends a swirl of emotions racing through my body, the way every kiss always did. It was like falling in love all over again, I loved every second of it and I wouldn't trade the feeling for anything in the world. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I realized that Nick and my boyfriend were waiting for me to answer some question I supposed they asked while my mind was being taken over.

"What?" I spat.

"Are you okay?" They said simultaneously, making me smile at how concerned they seemed.

"Oh.."

They both shot questioning looks at each other before shrugging and looking back at me waiting for a response.

"I mean, yeah. What." I shook my head a little blinking away the stupidity.

"You sure?" Nick said while twiddling his thumbs, making it a point I realized that he was.

It was one of many signals we had made when we're younger and it just stuck throughout the years. Which was comforting for me because I could always let him know when something was up without alarming everyone else. Which there always was with me, I'm a disaster.

I nod, "Yeah. I'm just a little out of it. Sorry, babe."

I see Vic's eye twitch a little and I lift my hand up, interlocking our fingers. Quickly, I try to change the subject to get it out of his mind.

"So, why are you here?" I say cracking a little smile and leaning forward a little to see Nick's face past Vic's chest since I was so short compared to him.

"You know you're in Florida, right?" he says a little confused.

"No." I laugh.

"Well still, you didn't think I'd miss warped, did you? Sara told me you were still going even though you broke up with that piece of shit." Vic smiles and nods agreeingly with Nicks description.
