Chapter 2

RHIANE

"What are you doing here?"

I shouldn't be surprised because he's the president of this university but he only comes here when he needs something.

I don't want to start a fight on my first day so I tried to leave. It's too early for my patience to run out, but before I could manage to turned my back, he speak.

" I'm just here to remind you something"

I can feel the coldness in his voice, he's still the same. He never talked to me properly. I can't even feel a father's longing from him.

Damn that reminder again!

"Wala tayong dapat pag usapan" I'm trying to hold myself from looking at his eyes.

I really got he's attitude.

"Rhiane umupu ka" Uncle ordered me and stood up to make me sit on the other side of the couch next to him.

" Mag usap kayong maayos kahit ngayon lang" pakiusap nito.

My dad fixed his suit before looking at me. He's handsome but he's also a widely recognized actor.

Tsk.

"Wala ka man lang bang balak dalawin ako sa bahay?" He asked.

"Para ano? I-pressure na naman akong gawin ang gusto mo?" I gave him a sarcastic smile.

"Rhiane don't say that to your dad" Dean stopped me and I just rolled my eyes.

"If you only called me for this Uncle, I think I should just go to my class" gusto ko nang umalis, pakiramdam ko na so suffocate ako. It sounds rude but I just hate being around my dad.

He always wants me to do something that I hate but he can't do anything because he knows how stubborn I am.

" Hindi matutuwa ang mommy mo kung--"

"Don't even try to bring my mom's name here Uncle!" I warned him before he could finished what he's trying to say. I'm so sensitive when it comes to my mom, I don't like bringing her name in front of my dad 'cause I know he doesn't care about her.

Others thought our family was perfect because of our influence and good pictures in public, but they didn't know that behind dad's good name was just a big lie. Who would think that this old man is a pretender? he's handsome and he looks perfect, so others think he's a very good man.

"I'm planning to send Vince back here para maging malapit kayo" dad said.

I clenched my jaw after hearing what he said. I knew it. That's the real reason kung bakit nandito siya.

"I'm done here!" I said harshly before leaving them.

Sobra na s'ya.

I won't let him control me anymore.

I decide to go straight to the cafeteria since it's almost break time. Mamaya pa namang hapon ang next class ko kaya dito muna ako tatambay para mag palamig ng ulo.

We're always like this, sa tuwing magkikita kami ng tatay ko ay never nag karoon ng matinong usapan. Hindi ko nga alam kung kailan ba kami nag usap ng hindi nag tatalo. I hate him pero wala akong choice dahil tatay ko s'ya.

Nag hanap ako ng table pagkatapos ko mag order ng pagkain. I ordered matcha milktea and a cheese burger since I haven't eaten since this morning. Parami na rin ng parami ang dumarating sa cafeteria kaya for sure nandito na rin mamaya yung mga mga kaibigan ko.

"Yanyan" I heard someone called me by my nickname, napalingon ako sa bandang entrance ng cafeteria. I saw my friends with Kath so I waved at them and signaling them to come here.
