The smoke begins to clear as moments before emergency rescue arrives, the debris begins to rise. Gwen with all of her strength, lifts up the concrete, weighing tons down onto her. She lifts it as someone crawls out from underneath her. She tosses the rubble to the side as she falls to her knees looking up.

Gwen: Gah! Dammit. Are you alright Elizabeth?

Elizabeth: Mmmm, y-yeah, I'm fine but. . . Wait. Where's Dad?

Elizebeth rushed to the debris trying to move the rubble herself, although she clearly didn't have the strength to do it alone. Gwen quickly aided her, tossing the rocks to the side. as Gwen noticed a hand sticking out. She quickly pulled the stones off of your father as he was laying down, breathing with shallow breaths.

Elizabeth: DAD!

Dad: . . . U-Uh. E-Elizabeth?

Elizabeth: Dad, hold on! Please.

Elizabeth holds onto her father's hand as he clings to life.

Dad: G-Gwen.

Gwen rushes to his side at the mention of her name.

Gwen: Y-You're going to be okay. Just hang on, the paramedics will be here.

Dad: No. . . I-It's too late for me. . . *cough* Eli. . . I want you to keep your brother *cough* safe. Alright?

Elizabeth: Dad no! Please, just hang on.

He weakly caresses Elizabeth's face as her tears fall.

Dad: Y-You and your brother are gonna need each other. . . Please. Stay close to him. . . Gwen. You keep them both safe. . . I'm glad. . . you and (Y/N) are friends. . . He's gonna need you. . .

He coughs as blood lightly leaks from his mouth as he looks up to the sky. A tear falling down his eye as he thinks about his life, how he was always so busy with work, too busy to spend time with his family. But now it all ends here. Before he even had a chance to make it right.

Dad: I'm. . . sorry.

With that, the light in his eyes fades as he goes limp, his breathing halting as Elizabeth just cries. Feeling unable to do anything. Her eyes watering as she just screams into the night sky, Gwen holding onto her, hugging her as her pained howls reach into the sky.

*Meanwhile*

You kick a mans gun out of his hands as you web him to the side of a building.

Nocturne: What did I tell you about playing with toys? No crime for the next 2-10 years. I don't know I'm not a judge. You and your buddies really need a time out.

Goon: You better be lucky Spider-

You web his mouth shut as you hear the sound of sirens in the distance.

Nocturne: Well, that's my signal.

As you begin to swing away, your ears begin to ring in pain as you forcibly cover them.

Nocturne: GAH! DAMMIT!

The screams hurt you in a way you have never been hurt before. IT didn't hurt you physically, but like it was mentally draining you. Eventually you were able to tell who'd scream you were. . . feeling at this point.

You rush in the direction, realizing that this feeling was coming from the sushi restaurant. Then you took notice of the smoke in the sky. You made your way their faster. As fast as your webs could allow you.

Some time later, you arrive on the scene to see the collapsed building. Once you arrived you saw Ghost land in front of you while holding Elizabeth who was crying her eyes out.
