Chapter 26: Privacy

    Outside your window, Wanda came, waiting at the fire escape. As she was about to knock, she is interrupted by something, or someone.

Gwen: What are you doing here?

  Wanda turns to see Gwen climbing out of her window, making her way up the fire escape. Her face sours as the two lock eyes.

Wanda: Here to see (Y/N). What the hell do you care?

Gwen: Well, if you must know I as on my way up to see him as well. He hasn't been around and I wanted to check up on him.

Wanda: Hehe, like he'd want you to be the first thing he lays his eyes on.

  Gwen grits her teeth as she is seconds away from decking Wanda off the fire escape and to her doom below. As the two stare, they hear the popping of gum, turning to see Jubilee also making her way up.

Jubilee: Is this a bad time? Wait, hat the heck are you doing here?!

  She says pointing at Wanda.

Wanda: None of your business X-Pest.

Gwen: What are you doing here Jubilee?

Jubilee: Haven't seen (Y/N) in a bit, and wanted to make sure he was okay. Heard news about him going around the city and stopping crime after crime. Kurt and Kitty tried to catch up to him but he as on a mission it seemed.

???: Oh so that's where he's been.

  The three turn in fear, except for Gwen to Rogue flying next to the fire escape.

Rogue: Hey there Scarlet.

Wanda: You serious? You of all people gotta be here too?

Rogue: Small world it seems. 

Jubilee: I don't think we should all be fighting on a fire escape. Doesn't seem stable enough.

Gwen: Your right. Let's just knock and see if he's alright. Just call a truce and no fighting. That goes for you Wicked Witch.

  Wanda rolls her eyes as Gwen goes over, knocking on the window. No answer.

Jubilee: Maybe he's asleep?

  Wanda peaks in, looking around as Kitty sticks her head out of the wall.

Kitty: You guys okay out here?

Jubilee: Kitty?

Kitty: Not just me, Kurt's here too.

  With Kitty's help, Kurt also sticks his head out of the wall.

Kurt: Guten Tag.

Rogue: So you both just break into his house when he's away?

Kurt: Well, I tried calling him, and that wasn't working, so we came by to see if something happened. But e can open the window for you guys to come in.

Gwen: You sure SHE can be trusted.

Wanda: You really wanna go goldilocks?

Gwen: Anytime you little scarlet bi-

Rogue: OKAY! Chill out y'all. Getting madder than a wet hen listening to all this. Let's just call a truce for now and wait for him in his room. Agreed?

  Everyone looks at one another as Kitty and Kurt go ack inside to open the door for them. Gwen enters first, but is shoved inside by Wanda.

Wanda: Oops, sorry goldilocks.

  She laughs to herself as Kurt has to keep Gwen calm and composed before the claws come out. Literally.

Rogue: Well, his room is very. . . dark.
