Chapter 17- Love Never Ends

Manik looked at Siya unbelievably. ''Siya, you here?'' he asked surprised. ''This was my surprise to you Manik, I called her'' Mukti said. ''That was a sweet surprise by the way, thank you'' Manik said as he kissed Siya's forehead. Abhimanyu cleared his throat to clear the air. Manik looked behind and boom Nandini is gone. His eyes searched for her but he knew that she left already. ''Ab function shuru kare, ghar ke saare log aaye hai'' Nyonika said. Manik has his eyes laid on Aryaman now as he saw Navya leaving silently. 

Nandini went to meet Tara with Cabir and Navya. ''Ab tak usko aa jaana chahiye tha na!'' Nandini said looking at her watch. ''What will we talk even if she come? Do you have any idea?'' Cabir asked Nandini. ''Manik said that he doesn't want Aryaman to meet her, basi yahi convey karna hai'' Nandini said. After few minutes, Tara came there. She was confused as she couldn't saw Aryaman but Nandini there. ''Aryaman?'' she asked confused. ''Tara, please listen Aryaman nahi aayega, Manik ne hume bhej diya'' Nandini said. ''But he wanted to meet'' Tara asked innocent. ''I'm sorry, but he is upset'' Nandini said to Tara. ''Humare life ka itna bada sach jaan ne ke baad uska haal mai samaj sakti hu'' Tara pitied him. Nandini felt sad for her. She thought of calling Aryaman but was scared of Manik.

''Manik, please Aryaman ko yaha bhej do, they need to talk'' Nandini called Manik and asked. ''Are you out of your mind? Aryaman and Tara! No way'' he said. ''Aryaman chota bachcha nahi hai and his life decisions has nothing to do with him. At least they need a proper closure'' Nandini said and Manik agreed instantly. He felt Nandini was right about their closure. Now Manik has to find an excuse to leave from there.

"Mom, mujhe kuch kaam hai, I'll just go and come quickly" Manik told Nyonika. "Ab kaha jaoge Manik when everyone are here" Nyonika is puzzled. "It's important mom, Mukti ko mat batana please" Manik asked her. Siya saw Manik talking with Nyonika. "Aunty, I think we should let him go, warna Manik aise hi nahi jayega function se" Siya backed him. "Yes mom, please" he asked and Nyonika agreed in their insistence. "Thank you so much" he told Siya holding her hands. "It must be so important that you had to leave now" Siya asked. "Yes, kind of, ye kisiki life ki sawaal hai" Manik said. "Is something bothering you Manik?" Siya asked an emotional Manik. "No, it's not about me, I'll let you know everything soon, bye" he planted a kiss on her forehead and said bye.

He went out and called Aryaman. "Come out, I'm waiting for you in the car" Manik hung up on him. Aryaman got in the car and wore seat belt. Manik started driving. "Aren't you going to ask where are we going?" Manik asked Aryaman. "Tara se milne jaa rahe hai na hum" Manik didn't expect this. "Tumhe kaise pata?" Manik asked Aryaman. "I've heard you making plans with Nandini and Cabir on how to sneak out without me knowing. How come you guys changed your plan?" Aryaman asked. "It's life Aryaman, anything can happen at anytime" Manik said. Aryaman has mixed emotions to meet Tara. She waited for him and became restless. Nandini offered water seeing her. Tara gave a smile to Nandini as she returned the water bottle and was about to speak something when she saw Aryaman. He hesitantly walked towards her but Tara wasted no time as she hugged him tight.

Nandini and Manik looked at each other while Aryaman and Tara hugged. ''I..'' Aryaman tried to speak but couldn't utter a word. ''Shh...only I will speak today, not you or anyone'' she said. ''I waited for you so long Aryaman, wanting to melt in your arms, I love you so much'' she said. Aryaman found something is wrong with her. ''Something is off with you'' he expressed his doubt. ''I want to leave everything behind and want to stay with you forever'' she cried. Aryaman hugged her. ''You are the reason why they are together today'' Manik whispered in Nandini's ears. ''Bahut kismat walon ko aise pyaar milta hai'' Cabir said to Navya. ''Pata nahi mera kismat itna acha hai ya nahi'' Navya murmured. ''God knows'' Cabir prayed for Navya. ''Par tumhara naseeb tho bahut acha hai Cabir, I'm never gonna leave you, Never'' Navya said to herself. ''Come to me then'' Aryaman asked for her hand and waited for Tara's reply. ''I wish If this is simple like this'' Tara said and she collapsed onto the ground. 

Aryaman ran and caught her in his arms. ''Mera akhri wish tho pura hua hai Aryaman, it's time for you to move on and start afresh'' she said. ''My life starts with you Tara, and I will not let anything happen to you'' Aryaman said. Tara had blood vomit and everyone panicked at the sight of Tara. She kissed Aryaman on his cheek and closed her eyes. Aryaman tried to wake her up by shaking but he realized in a minute that she is gone forever. Manik moved forward to console Aryaman but stayed back after seeing Nandini in shock. ''Nandini'' he called her loudly. ''Meri wajhe se mar gayi wo'' Nandini said scared. ''What! Tumhari galti nahi hai, it was unfortunate but'' Manik tried to calm her down but tears flew down her cheeks. He couldn't see her cry. ''If I had not met Tara, Aryaman would never had to bear this pain of guilt and pain of losing her'' Nandini cried uncontrollably. Manik hugged her tight. ''Shh....you're not at fault, please don't feel bad'' he said wiping her tears off her eyes. They saw Aryaman crying off his heart. 

Manik moved aside from Nandini realizing his position. They both were in awkward position for a minute and then reached for Aryaman. They couldn't stop Aryaman and Manik thought that he should let him cry. ''I never thought this will end like this'' Cabir said. ''Their love story might end Cabir, but their love, it never ends'' Navya corrected him. ''Abhi hum kar kya sakte hai?'' Cabir asked Manik. ''Uske ghar walon ko inform karna hai, I'll look into the formalities'' Manik said and called for an ambulance. ''Nandini, please be with Aryaman until I come to meet him'' Manik said and asked her to take him home. Aryaman was not ready to leave Tara but he had to leave her. Nandini took him to his place. ''She is truly Tara. Aasman mein Tara banke mujhe chod ke chali gayi'' he cried saying this. ''Maybe she wanted you to know about her before she leaves'' Nandini said. She made coffee for him and Manik came back. 

Nandini looked at Manik in an attempt to ask what happened. ''Aryaman kaisa hai?'' he asked her. ''He is sleeping now'' she said and before she could complete her sentence Aryaman shouted Tara from his room. Manik and Nandini went inside to check on him. Manik calmed him. ''I'll stay with him, you can go home'' Manik said and his phone rang. Aryaman and Nandini were keen to know what happened. ''Tara's postmortem report is here, its a case of suicide'' Manik gave a pause. ''She took poison to kill herself'' Manik said with a heavy heart. ''Usne aisa kiya hi kyu? How will Aryaman know why she killed herself, Aryaman kyu kuch nahi bataya?'' Nandini said to Manik. Aryaman searched for his laptop eagerly and finally found it. Manik and Nandini are confused seeing his actions. ''What happened?'' Manik asked.

''Tara might have sent me messages through emails, she always does that'' Aryaman remembered Tara's old habit of sending messages through mails even though he makes fun of her saying that nobody reads emails in this era. He was right as he found her mail which was sent last night. He read that mail and literally slapped himself for not reading it earlier. 

''I know Aryaman that you will never get a habit to read my mails, but this would be my last. I'm so happy that you've got to know the biggest truth of our lives, thanks to Nandini, otherwise I would have never dared to tell you this. She freed me out of all this guilt. I'm waiting for you to know all this. I don't want to live a life like this Aryaman, I'm leaving. Bye, until we meet next time if we have next birth. Love you Aryaman'' she wrote in her mail. ''She wanted to die after saying this to Aryaman'' Manik puzzled. 

'''Maybe this was Tara's type of closure'' Nandini thought but she said aloud.
