Chapter 82- A lonely Night

Nandini's POV:

I heard Manik barging inside. ''Nandini'' I heard him calling my name and I went to hug him from back. He caught my hands and dragged me in front of him. ''Did you offer 20 crores to Cabir?'' he asked. So he knew it now and I nodded yes. ''Kaha se aaya hai itne paise?'' he asked. ''I did not give you any money after buying this farm house, so I gave it to Cabir'' so technically ye paise Manik ka hi hai. ''No one can stop me now'' I said. ''Pehle hosh mein aao Nandini'' Manik jerked me. ''I'm not drunk Manik, I did not even take a shot'' so he still thinks that I have said all that because I was drunk. ''Why did you pull such a dangerous stunt with Dhruv?'' he asked. ''How dare you?'' he asked me coming near me. I pulled him and he lost balance and leaned on me.

''Kyunki main heroine hoon'' I said to tease Manik and pulled him even closer by holding his collar. Manik seemed to be so angry but uske iraade theek nahi lag raha hai mujhe aur wo mere itne paas aaya ki main saas lena hi bhool gayi. His lips almost touched me when I felt something strange. I put my hands on his chest to stop him and looked back. I felt like someone was there at the door. Manik turned me towards him again. ''Why did you come to the party?'' he asked. I got myself freed from his hands. ''Why? Did you felt bad that I was there? I'm sure you might have apologized your beloved Dhruv for what I did?'' I said. ''Why would I apologize?'' he said. ''Oh yeah, you must be standing like a statue and might be feeling pity for him. Tum ko bahut gussa aaya hoga na?'' I asked. ''Stop it Nandini! Why are you doing all this? Cabir ko paise dena, Dhruv se ladhna, ye sab kyu?'' he asked as if he doesn't know anything. 

''Manik, tumne ek baar bhi , mujhse nahi poocha ki Dhruv ne kya kaha that I had to go to that extent, but no, you cannot see anything beyond your Dhruv and Siya. Ha maine Cabir ko paise diya kyunki Siya ki jagah main lena chahti thi, I wanted to act by your side'' I said. I turned back again that I felt someone was there at the door again. ''Why are you looking back again and again'' Manik asked me. ''I think there is someone there'' I said. He quickly walked towards the door and closed it. ''Waha koi nahi hai sirf tumhare insecurities ke alawa'' he said coming back. ''And you are the reason for it'' I said. ''Look Nandini, I have told Siya that I'm not in love with her anymore. Ha usko time lagega accept karne mein but that is not our problem. Jo bhi ho tum Siya aur Dhruv se dhoor raho please'' he said. It is of no use to try talking to him anymore. 

He grabbed my wrist and dragged me near. ''Manik, you are hurting'' I screeched. ''And you? Do you think humari shaadi ek mistake hai?'' he asked meeting my eyes. I looked into his eyes. ''Not until someone comes in between. I have realized Siya is still there in your life'' I said. ''There is no one in my life except you, I start with you and we end together in love. He held me by my waist and turned me back. He hugged me from the back and caressed my waist over my dress. He pushed my hair to one side and placed wet kisses from my neck till shoulders. I started to lose control on myself and passed my fingers through his hair and ruffled his hair. He tried to unzip my dress and my grip on his shirt tightened. He then carried me towards the bedroom.

''Manik, you said you will not do anything'' I asked him trying to interrupt. ''Even you said that you are hiding our marriage because you are successful and I'm not'' he said placing me on the bed. ''You already have 2 movies in your hand but still you paid to act alongside me. This is enough to tell that you are just making excuses to hide about us. If you are really serious about your career tum aise hi beech mein wo dono movies nahi chod deti'' he said. He unbuttoned his shirt by now and placed it on the bedpost beside him. He moved closer to me on the bed. He ran his fingers through my hair and caressed my earlobe. ''Manik, what are you doing?'' he might have not even hear me as I was so low. ''What is stopping you now?'' he asked pulling me over him and pulled a duvet over both of us. 

I placed both my hands from under his shoulders and hugged him. ''I don't want anything between us'' he said unzipping my top. ''No one and nothing'' he said in a whisper. The crop top was just loosely hanging on my body as it was unzipped already. He made sure to remove it from me and placed over his shirt on the bedpost. He came over me as I closed my eyes and hugged him. My hands were trembling when I tried to hold him and he kissed my palms. Most of my upper body is naked except for the bralette I was wearing. He did not rush but took time to kiss me. It felt like I was longing to be caressed by him. I dug my nails in his skin and thank God I didn't have any nail extensions on. I winced in pain all of a sudden when he gave me a hickey. 

I can't hold my excitement anymore and surrendered myself to him. Manik was wild yet gentle. His eyes occasionally met mine but I was so immersed in the pleasure. He then unhooked the bralette from the back and placed it near his pillow. He kissed my lips like there is no tomorrow and I reciprocated him. Now there is nothing between us. His fingers rolled on my bare back as he placed wet kisses everywhere. The room was horribly silent and we could hear each others' heart beat. I broke the kiss as I felt short of breath and got up from the bed. After a moment, I looked at him and already found his pants beside the bed. He sat along with me and whispered near my ear kissing the earlobe, ''may I?''. I shyly nodded my head as he would not proceed any further without me replying. I felt butterflies not only in stomach but all over the body. Gradually I help him undressing me and we are done with removing the last piece of clothes on us. It was a magical night and is still young.

We were in a deep slumber but I woke up around 3 o clock. I tried to get off the bed without disturbing Manik to find my clothes. ''Don't get up, sleep now'' he said and I was alerted by his hand pushing me again back to bed. ''I'm just trying to find my clothes Manik'' I said. ''You don't have to find them, you don't have to wear them even'' he said. ''Last night is the best thing happened in my life'' he said. ''This isn't a weak moment'' he said making his eyes wide. ''I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that'' I said. ''I don't have any problem with what you say, what you do. I just want you to be careful with the people around you'' he said. ''Mujhe koi aur se nahi Dhruv aur Siya se hi problem hai'' I said. ''Why don't we tell them about us! Tab koi problem hi nahi hai'' he said.

''Ab kuch mat bolo, let me be in the moment'' I said. ''Does that mean we can stay like this for all day?'' he asked. ''No, you've asked only until this morning'' I said. ''Did Cabir said that shoot will start today?'' I asked him. ''Ha most probably but I'm not sure'' he said. ''Nandini, we always talk about starting afresh many times, but I think it is not possible as we are still carrying our old baggage with us'' he said. We both held each others' hands and cuddled together in bed until morning. Finally he allowed me to get up when I said I badly need to take a shower. ''Puri raat tum ne mujhe theek se sone hi nahi diya'' I accused him as I had only 2 hours of sleep last night. ''Now you're talking like you didn't do anything'' he said still sleeping in the bed. ''Don't be lazy, go now and take a bath'' I said. ''Then why don't we shower together'' he looked excited. ''Nice try, Manik Malhotra but not now'' I said.

I got ready by the time Manik took a shower and he came out wrapping only a towel on his already drenched wet body frame. I would surely be lying if I say that he didn't get any attention from me. He dried his body and hair with another towel as he stood beside me. ''I already caught you staring at me, don't worry you can ogle at me. After all I'm your husband'' he said. ''Apne aap ke baare mein itna zyada mat sochna, talking about the baggage in the morning, you need to put Siya and Dhruv aside from your life'' I said. ''Ok done! You also need to put Rohan aside, itna chipku type ka hai wo. You were holding his hand throughout the party last night'' he said. ''Because he was the one who came to rescue when Dhruv and I were about to fight'' I said. ''Wo bhi tho Dhruv ko sorry bolke tumhe waha se le gaya'' he said. ''But you didn't even say anything to stop Dhruv. Rohan hai hi aisa, calm and composed. He never even raise his voice against anyone'' I said as I applied my lipstick. Manik took my foundation stick in his hand and applied it on the hickey he gave me last night.

''Stop taking his side, I don't know why but my intuition says that he is not right'' Manik said lost in his thoughts. I know how jealous he is!
