Chapter 38- Hidden Feelings

Manik's POV:

I can't believe Nandini still got Navya even after explaining her last night. I had promised her so I can't deny Navya now. ''Navya?'' Dhruv was a bit shocked as he doesn't know that I dismissed Navya. ''Yes, I thought Navya's voice will be apt for me'' Nandini said. Dhruv had to agree as he promised me too. I had asked him to agree with Nandini. But Nandini did not do the right thing by getting Navya here. You have now given me the reason to be away from you Nandini. 

Aryaman said he is packing to leave. I had to send him off till the airport. He reached on set to bid farewell to everyone. He met Cabir. ''Cabir, I'm sorry for what I have done, please forgive me'' Aryaman apologized. He told me what happened with Cabir. I knew that this would happen so I denied them but Aryaman and Nandini didn't listen. I should stop thinking about Nandini. Navya came to meet me. ''Manik'' she was about to say something but I stopped her. ''Navya, I don't want to hear anything, you didn't care about what I said'' I accused Navya. ''I'm so sorry Manik, I didn't listen to you but I understood what you wanted to say, Cabir never loved me and he will never love me too. I don't want to be left behind because of Cabir. I wanted to take a chance Manik. Main aap ko shikayat ka mauka nahi doongi'' she said. I'm glad at least Navya understood why I did that and I think she deserve a chance. 

I have dropped Aryaman at the airport. ''Sab pack kar liya hai na, I hope you did not forget anything'' I asked and he nodded. ''I will miss you all Manik'' he said and hugged me. ''I will miss you too'' I said. Nandini came there. ''I thought you will not come'' Aryaman said. ''How can I not come to send you off'' Nandini said. I excused myself from there. Nandini shouldn't have gone against me. Aryaman came to me. ''I know you did not like Nandini getting back Navya, but please try to be good with her, Nandini's intention is not wrong anyway'' he explained. I promised Aryaman to be nice with Nandini, but I can't risk my feelings for her. I better stay away from her. 

''Maine promise kiya na, I will not interfere in any of her issues'' I said. And I will make sure that I will stick to my words. Aryaman hugged Nandini before he left. ''You will miss him na'' Nandini asked. I did not say anything. ''You will definitely miss Aryaman, tumhara eklautha friend tha vo'' she said. ''Bye'' I said and left from there. I cannot face her now, she is constantly reminding me that I'm cheating on Siya. I have to leave from here before she talks to me again. But mera kismat hi kharab hai tho kar kya sakta hai koi. ''Manik, mera car flat tire hua hai, would you please drop me home?'' she asked me as I was about to leave. She stopped my car. ''You can take a cab Nandini, mujhe kuch urgent kaam hai'' I said but she knew I was lying. She tried to open my car door. ''Kya kar rahi ho?'' I got down. ''Main tab se dekh rahi hu, why are you not talking to me? I admit Navya ko bina bataye wapas laana meri hi galti hai but you already forgiven Navya. Even you know that I'm not trying to unite Navya and Cabir, phir mujhe aise kyu treat kar rahe ho?'' she asked me and I have no answer. 

''So, this confirms that your car didn't break down, you were just making an excuse'' I said. ''Meri car kharab ho ya na ho, that is not a problem. Problem is with you, you are making me feel like I did a mistake'' she said. Right, uski koi galti nahi hai. ''I'm sorry, you are not at fault, please let it go and let me go now'' I said going back to sit in my car. Nandini stood there like a statue.  I stopped at a safer distance where she could not see me. She was wandering there but not off my sight. Looks like she is waiting for someone. Cab! Matlab sach mein uski car kharab ho gayi. I thought she was lying to me. I think I should check if she safely reach home. I followed the cab in which Nandini is. Isne beech raasta gaadi kyu ruk diya and why is Nandini getting down here. Is she even sane! Who stops a cab in the midnight to get an ice cream! Wo bhi ek nahi theen. She is an actress and has to maintain her body, how could she do it then? Finally ye ghar tho pahunch gayi. Should I wait for her to turn on the lights in her room. No, I won't be answerable if she find me here.
