Chapter 49- New Chapter

Manik's POV:

''I can't believe Cabir is going to marry Navya'' I said as the drama came to an end. I thought only movies has this drama, now I know why do people connect so much with the movies. Cabir and Roshni's parents said that they can't accept all this and that was when Roshni said that they need not accept or approve any decision in their lives. It is really unfair for both of them Roshni couldn't pursue her career and Cabir cannot marry the love of his life. Cabir was nothing when compared to Roshni. She has shut down everyone today. Hope they both get back their parents soon. ''Don't worry Cabir, your mom and dad will return soon'' Nandini said to Cabir. ''No Nandini, I know them, they won't approve this'' he said. ''They will come back for sure, I know more than you'' Roshni said to Cabir. ''But Roshni'' Navya tried to say something but Roshni interrupted. 

''Cabir ji, if you have said it earlier, my job would have been easier'' she said. Cabir was silent. ''Cabir did not want to hurt either you or Navya'' Nandini said. ''I understand but Cabir ji, aise karne se hum mein se koyi bhi khush nahi rahega'' whatever Roshni said was right. I should not repeat the same thing. I should tell Siya about my feelings for Nandini. I think she knows me so well, she can understand me better. I know I will break her heart but uski zindagi barbaad karne se ye tho better hi hai. She deserves who love her for what she is. She is beautiful, caring, rich and successful woman hai. She is innocent for this world. Agar wo mere saath hogi tho I would always not let her do anything except controlling her. Siya can choose whomever she likes but main uske saath kabhi nahi chodunga. I will always be her side no matter what.

''Manik, what do you want to order?'' I heard Cabir. ''Anything'' I said casually. Cabir promised Roshni to fulfill all his responsibilities. She wanted to shift to a ladies hostel until she gets an admission at the medical college. ''Waise Nandini, shaadi ka kya plans hai tumhara?'' Cabir asked Nandini. I can't believe Cabir is asking this to her. He already asked the same question to Siya and now Nandini. ''Abhi tho usne career start kiya, abhi shaadi karne ka jaldi kya hai?'' I said casually but Nandini's answer made me think. ''I don't mind marrying Cabir, acha ladka mil jaye tho zaroor shaadi karungi. I don't want to be alone, not after Satya's death'' she said. I know how lonely she is feeling, I should have wake her up last night, wo surprise tho reh hi gaya. Atleast today I should go to her. ''That's great, so who is the lucky one?'' jaane anjaane mein hi sahi, Cabir asked right question. Nandini ka answer tho aaj pata chal jayega. 

''Right now, mujhe koi idea nahi hai. But I'm sure koi acha ladka mil jayega. Arranged marriage ka concept hi mujhe acha nahi lagta. First I should know him, meet him, mujhe wo pasand aana chahiye, we should date, discuss all other important things, finances, parenting, savings, future expectations and goals. After all, marriage is a thing for life time'' she said. I didn't know Nandini had so much fascination for wedding. ''But I thought you will say no as you have recently started your career, why don't you take time'' I said to her. ''Movies were never on my priority list Manik. Satya always wanted to see me in movies. In fact he tried to get into movies but he never succeeded. Maybe he got to complete his wish through me, but sadly he went away on the same day when my first movie released'' she said remembering Satya. ''Mujhe bas ek hi sapna hai, me, my husband and my kids, in my dream home, just like your farm house, that is perfect for me!'' Nandini said. 

''Then you should rent your farmhouse to Nandini'' Navya said. Nandini looked at me in anticipation of something. ''No'' I was quick to say. ''What No Manik?'' Cabir asked me gaping at me. ''I mean wo Aryaman tha, isliye maine usse farmhouse mein rehne diya, warna kisi ko main farmhouse mein rehne nahi deta'' I said. ''Please'' Nandini asked. Nandini please understand, if you want to stay there, we can stay there forever. That farm house is my dad's. I had so many memories there as a child. I'm more than happy to know that Nandini liked my farmhouse. I would love to see my children grow there. As Nandini said, me, Nandini and our kids, it will be perfect....just picture perfect. ''Wo farm house mera dad ka hai. It's like generational property, my dad lived there, I spent my childhood there and I would love to see my children playing there'' I said but I feel it isn't going well with Nandini. ''Fine, I think I should leave now'' she said as she rose up from her chair.
