One Letter Two Words

Chapter 25

The sun had just past its peak and was glistening against the water the waves gently crashing against the soft golden sand, the clouds in the sky were light and fluffy, they were hanging low as the wind blew them through the sky.

You were laying back on a blue beach chair its wooden legs dug into the sand. You were with Minho getting cleansed by the sea breeze as the rest of the boys ran into the water splashing it creating ripple effects. Much to your amusement Hyunjin tripped and fell face first into the water taking Felix with him you couldn't help but laugh with Minho. He ended up laugh so hard as he went so slap your shoulder he fell off his chair causing you to lay down in the sand as you tried to catch your breath after laughing so hard you started to wheeze barely able to breathe. 

After you regained your composure you look over at Felix to see him staring at you, his head poking just above the water you smile at him reassuring him that you were ok and he smiled back closing his eyes when Jeongin took the opportunity to tackle him into the water making you chuckle to yourself as you sink back into the chair. 

"Don't you want to join them? It looks like they're having a lot of fun." You look at Minho the sun shining down on his purple hair as he turns to you, his sunglasses fall to his nose perfectly matching the 'are you serious' look on his face. "I know you can't swim but they're just in the shallow end, even Ji is there." You point out to the sea watch several of the boys splash each other with water they're hair gone from fluffy to long and wet dripping on their face down to their shirtless bodies.

"And get tackled like that? Did you see what happened to Felix? No thank you I don't want to drown today, I'm perfectly fine sitting here with your annoying ass." He ruffles your hair slouching back in his chair putting is hands behind his head and placing his leg over his knee.

"I like your company too Min Min, but it looks fun and you know they wouldn't drown you and they're just being rough, you know like when you stuff tissues in Hyunjin's mouth like come on, funny but unnecessary. They wouldn't do that to you and cats don't like water so I'm not surprised but it's not even deep and they need an eighth for the shoulder chicken wars thingy."

"The shoulder chicken wars thingy? You know what you tried and I respect you for that."

"Really?"

"No." He laughs evilly and you gently shove him causing his chair to fall over along with him making you laugh again, you could always goof around with him and you had a lot more in common than you thought. 

"Come on don't be a scaredy cat, I promise nothing will happen Felix and Chris are great swimmers and if they can't rescue you I will. I'll just tan and take a nap I'll be fine."

"Yeah like I was worried about you." He rolled his eyes and slowly started making his way to the water with the rest of the guys. 

Now you know why Chris loved sitting back and watching them, it made you feel proud to have them in your life, you couldn't help but smile at them all together it was something you wouldn't mind doing more often.

As Minho was now in the water all the boys gathered welcoming him lightly splashing him with water, after he got over himself he was feeling much better. They split up into teams of two, Minho carried Jisung, Changbin carried Hyunjin, Chan carried Jeongin and Felix carried Seungmin on his shoulders. They slowly run at each other pushing past the water slowing them down, Jisung and Jeongin push each other as hard as they can hoping to push each other off as Chan and Minho fight each other one hand on a leg the other trying to knock each other down. You were too sure who was going to win Chan had a lot of overall strength but Minho had strong thighs and that really helped him at the waves tried to knock him over.
