We just landed in Germany.
The two pilots came to the front and had a speech.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we just arrived to Leipzig, Germany. Slowly take out your belongings from the cabin compartments. If your suitcases are on Cargo hold, please step out of the airplane and wait infront for a worker to come. Thank you for your patience."

Everyone was slowly grabbing their suitcases and going out of the plane. I was tired, really tired. I just wanted to plop down on my bed and have a really good sleep. We checked our passports and now we were in the parking lot of the airport.

I spotted my aunt Hannah and I quickly ran to her, hugging her tightly. She was always a person that understood me like nobody else, I always felt safe around her.

We got a ride from her and we were in her car driving back to our house. No, we didnt sell the home we have in Leipzig. We simply just forgot about it and now since Christmas was coming in a couple of days, we figured we might stay over for a couple of years since we weren't back here in so long.

I know for sure that this year Christmas would be very different and won't have the vibes I look forward too every year.

"Chloe?" my mom suddenly said, making me snap out of my thoughts.

"Hm?" I look away from the window, making eye contact with her.

"Come on, we arrived. You need to help me with the boxes and suitcases." She said before going out of the car.

"Yea, okay. Coming." I reply and get out of the car, the cold air hitting my face instantly.

I help my mom with the boxes and put them in our house. I looked around and memories filled my head with every step I took. It was pretty cold inside so I put some wood in the fireplace as my mom was unpacking some of the suitcases and boxes.

After some time of unpacking, I changed into my comfy pyjamas and went upstairs to my room. My room looked clean and spotless, probably because my aunt was taking care of the house all this time.

I looked out the window to see Tom and Bill's house right next to mine. I wondered if they still lived there, in the same house.
It reminded me of the time when I would sneak out with them through this window to go to some parties and such when we were 14. Always begging my sister not to tell mom and dad.

Good times always go away so quickly.

I looked away from the window and went to my bed, slowly drifting off to sleep under the covers.
