Oliver was patching up my broken and bloody nose, I had given liam my phone with the prescription opened up on Trins email so he could go and grab it.
Oliver had booked an appointment for the psychologist - recommended by the one we saw in Italy - to come round.
"Do you think she'll ever get better?" I heard Milo ask with his voice full of sadness. Oliver sighed as I winced when he wiped a particular spot on my nose.
"I don't know, Carissimo, but we have to give her a chance. Up until 5 days ago, she was still there. The psychologist is coming here in about an hour." He informed us and I nodded, before he sighed
(Dearest)
"She definitely broke your nose good. I'll need an X-Ray." He sighed before standing up. It hurt, but not as much as it hurt to know she had to have that strength and aggression there. She had to fight like that just to survive.
"Are you sure? There's no other option" I grumbled, I never liked hospitals and it only got worse after Amadeo.
"No. It's impressive really, but I can see that she's done more damage than I thought. She's surpassed tape and resetting. I'm sorry, I can take you to the Potente's Hospital?" He suggested, knowing I trust them. We were next to each other in terms of power and despite them also being an Italian Mafia we formed an agreement with them years and years ago. We don't interact too much with them in day-to-day operations, the don isn't someone my papa likes to be around. But he puts up with it as they benefit us and we benefit them.
"Cazzo. Fine." I grumbled, not happy about it at all but deciding to go.
"Only if you come with." I stated. I'm not going to a hospital, listen to their medical jargon only to not understand what's going on and end up not getting anything sorted.
"Agreed. Now get in the car, I'll let James know." He instructed and I rolled my eyes before he laughed and headed off to wherever James was, meaning I got into the car and waited. It wasn't long before we arrived and got out.
The Potente's bought a few hospitals in different countries quite a while ago, specifically for the Mafia, of course civilians go if needed and are treated, but it's a safer place for our people to be treated. I'm not sure if the hands have changed since last year, I need to check in with our Mafia and relations but I've had so much on my plate.
We got out, checked in and sat on the chairs as we waited, I smiled as I saw Antonio Potente. He spotted me quickly and came over
"Ryan, what are you doing here? I haven't seen you in a long while!" He asked with a smile. I always got on well with the Potente Sons - even if Antonio had nothing much to do with the mafia - It was such a shame about their sister though.
