"You ready, son?" My pops asked as I looked at myself in the mirror. I was in a full suit, and my whole body felt like it was filled with butterflies and was buzzing with excitement.

"I'm doing it, I'm marrying her" I mumbled with a smile and teary eyes as he laughed "I'm gonna be her husband, pops!" I chuckled

"You sure are, she's a good one. Im proud of you" he wiped his eyes as we walked to the door. Oh my god, Hes crying already. We're both crying.

We walked into the barn, my heart was pounding as I headed to the front of the room. Everyone was sat down, I'd been introduced to most of them but there were a lot who I didn't yet know, turning to my groomsmen. Jax wasn't here - Artemis had laid her claim on him as her bridesmaid before I had the chance, so I had Hunter, Lawson, and my sister standing in a line behind me.

"How is she?" I asked my sister, we had a short while until Art would show up and I was dying to see her. I hadn't seen her since yesterday - god I'm a clingy mess.

"She's fine, Poppy and Dandelion have been prepared, and the bridesmaids are all ready-" well that doesn't fill me with confidence

"Artemis. How is Artemis." I asked impatiently, oh my god is she going to say no?? Is she having second thoughts?! No! No, art wouldn't....

"She's fine." I fidget with my fingers, fine is the word people use when their world is falling apart "don't worry Nathaniel, she'll be here" Hunter whispers over my shoulder but I can't keep the anxiety in.

And then the music started. My shoulders relaxed and I turned to the barn doors to see Luna, Giacomo - one of London's Sons, and Carissa - London's brother's daughter, all walking down the aisle spreading petals. Carissa was helping to keep the two youngest in line. Luna, Artemis's youngest and only sister, broke free from Carissa's grip with a giggle before speed running towards me and slamming into my legs. Our little audience laughed at her misbehaviour.

"Hey munchkin. I think you're meant to take a seat" I knelt down to whisper and she giggled. She was a cheeky little one and liked to not listen so instead of going to the seat, she stood in front of Hunter. Giacomo followed suit, but instead of joining her he whispered in her ear, and they went to their seats with joined hands.

Kids.

I smiled and averted my eyes to the door again, the bridesmaids - and Jax - were making their way up.

Oh my god! I had to stop myself from bursting out laughing at Jax's suit. It went along with the bridesmaids theme, but my god. Seeing my friend in a suit cut like a dress was hilarious. I'm definitely framing the photos.
